Site Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This position is full-time and requires in-person attendance at our Austin campus.

If you instinctively create order when you encounter complexity, you belong here. Alpha serves students who accelerate quickly, seek meaningful challenge, and are ready for genuine responsibility. We combine demanding academics with essential life skills and our focused 2-Hour Learning framework, enabling students to advance with both speed and confidence. We're looking for someone who can transform a bustling school environment into a reliable, high-functioning operation—every transition, every handoff, every element executed flawlessly.

On our Austin campus, you'll serve as the driving force that maintains operational momentum: protecting focused learning time, ensuring safe and efficient daily operations, and removing barriers so Guides can mentor without distraction. You'll oversee facility workflows, provide frontline technical support, and manage community communication, building an environment where ambition is standard and independence is cultivated. If you value clear expectations, decisive action, and measurable results, this role will suit you well.

Apply to build a campus where students accelerate their learning, families experience tangible impact, and operational discipline is the foundation of everything we do.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the daily schedule with accuracy so 2-Hour Learning sessions begin promptly, remain undisturbed, and conclude effectively.
  • Providing initial technology support (equipment configuration, routine troubleshooting) and managing IT escalation protocols.
  • Ensuring a secure, well-ordered campus: emergency preparedness drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility preparedness.
  • Maintaining transparent communication with students, families, and colleagues; resolving issues promptly and recording key decisions.
  • Coordinating campus events—onboarding activities, inventory and space planning—so the site consistently operates at readiness.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing curriculum; Guides manage student mentorship while you maintain operational systems.
  • Working remotely or behind the scenes; your role is campus-facing and directly influences student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Focusing on low-value tasks that fail to enhance speed, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, organized, and conducive to learning, allowing students and staff to concentrate on growth rather than operational concerns.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or similar service-intensive settings.
  • Composed under pressure; self-starting problem-solver capable of managing competing demands with precision.
  • Proficient with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration.
  • Professional, respectful written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to report on-site in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship not available).
