Full Stack Developer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

If you're a Full-Stack Engineer drawn to complex challenges and high-impact feature delivery, this is an opportunity to create innovative AI-powered products that reshape learning and development. Your focus will be on executing with precision, building products that scale, remain maintainable, and drive meaningful outcomes.

Our portfolio includes transformative learning products:

  • TeachTap: An AI-driven platform bringing historical figures to life through a TikTok-style learning interface.
  • TeachTales: A tool that captivates students using personalized, magical storytelling to enhance comprehension.
  • TimeBack: A learning copilot embedded within existing applications, offering proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: An AI-powered system generating videos and assessments to produce measurable academic results.

This position centers on creating tangible impact through functional software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack solutions addressing real problems—not simply completing task lists. Expectations include rapid delivery without compromising quality, always selecting the simplest viable solution that reconciles immediate velocity with sustainable architecture.

If tackling sophisticated technical problems and shipping impactful features excites you, we want to connect.

What you will be doing

  • Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Transform user stories into delivered impact by clarifying requirements, architecting scalable systems, implementing backend and frontend logic, conducting thorough testing, and deploying to production
  • Diagnose and Resolve Defects: Trace issues to their root causes, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through strategic testing
  • Elevate Code Standards: Assess plans and pull requests for clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt at the source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Crafting pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems purely for technical showmanship
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying challenge
  • Spending time in prolonged meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with stakeholders
  • Merely releasing features; your responsibility extends to solving genuine user problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys quickly, and maintains long-term sustainability

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Demonstrated experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not just contributing siloed tasks
  • Independent execution: The ability to unblock yourself, set your own pace, and find paths forward in ambiguous situations
  • Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
