Description

AUSTIN-BASED OPPORTUNITY: This is a full-time, on-campus position at our Austin location.

Do you thrive in dynamic environments where every moving piece matters? Alpha is designed for ambitious students who demand excellence, embrace challenges, and seek meaningful responsibility. Our innovative approach combines academic rigor with essential life skills through our proven 2-Hour Learning framework, empowering students to advance rapidly and confidently.

We're seeking a dynamic operations professional who can transform the complexity of daily school operations into seamless, high-performing systems. At our Austin campus, you'll be the operational backbone that ensures everything runs like clockwork—from bell schedules to technology support to community engagement—creating the perfect environment for our Guides to focus entirely on student mentorship.

Your mission: orchestrate flawless daily operations, maintain impeccable safety standards, and eliminate friction so that learning can flourish. If you're energized by clear processes, decisive action, and measurable impact, this role will challenge and fulfill you.

Join us in building a campus where academic excellence meets operational precision, where families experience the Alpha difference, and where your behind-the-scenes mastery powers extraordinary student outcomes.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrating seamless daily operations to ensure our signature 2-Hour Learning sessions launch punctually, maintain focus, and conclude successfully.
  • Serving as the frontline technology champion—configuring devices, resolving technical issues, and managing IT escalations efficiently.
  • Upholding campus safety and organization through emergency preparedness, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility maintenance oversight.
  • Facilitating transparent communication across our community—students, families, and team members—while ensuring rapid response times and thorough documentation.
  • Orchestrating campus celebrations and transitions—special events, new student integration, resource management, and space optimization—maintaining our standard of constant readiness.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing educational content; our Guides specialize in student mentorship while you perfect operational systems.
  • Working in isolation; your role is highly visible and directly impacts student achievement and family satisfaction.
  • Getting bogged down in administrative tasks that don't enhance learning efficiency, campus safety, or educational quality.

Key responsibilities

Create and maintain an exceptional campus environment that prioritizes safety, preparedness, and support, enabling students and staff to concentrate fully on learning and development rather than operational concerns.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing complex operations in education, event management, hospitality, or similar service-focused industries.
  • Exceptional composure under pressure; forward-thinking problem-solver capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining precision.
  • Proficiency in basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that inspire trust and confidence.
  • U.S. work authorization required; must be available for full-time, on-site work in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship not available).
