Campus Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If you see disorder and immediately design the system to fix it, this role will fit you well. Alpha serves students who advance quickly, seek rigor, and are ready for genuine ownership. We combine demanding academics with practical life skills and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework that helps students progress with speed and confidence. We're looking for an operator who can transform a dynamic school environment into a reliable, high-functioning system—every transition, every handoff, every element executed precisely.

At our Austin location, you will be the driver that keeps operations running seamlessly: protecting time dedicated to focused learning, maintaining safe and organized daily operations, and removing barriers so Guides can mentor at their highest level. You will manage facilities coordination, frontline technology support, and family communication, building a setting where ambition is expected and independence is cultivated. If you value clear expectations, swift action, and measurable results, this role is designed for you.

Apply to build a campus where students accelerate their learning, families see tangible impact, and operational precision is the foundation of success.

What you will be doing

  • Executing the daily schedule with accuracy so the 2-Hour Learning sessions begin punctually, remain distraction-free, and conclude effectively.
  • Managing initial technology requests (device configuration, basic diagnostics) and coordinating escalated issues with IT.
  • Upholding a secure, well-ordered campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facilities preparation.
  • Engaging clearly with students, families, and colleagues; resolving matters promptly and recording outcomes.
  • Enabling campus events—onboarding, milestones, inventory and space coordination—so the environment always feels fully prepared.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing curriculum; Guides manage student mentorship while you operate the infrastructure.
  • Working remotely or behind the scenes; your role is visible and directly connected to student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Investing time in low-value tasks that don't enhance speed, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that the campus setting is consistently safe, organized, and conducive so that students and staff can concentrate on learning and development, not operational concerns.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a comparable high-touch service setting.
  • Composed under pressure; self-starting problem-solver capable of balancing multiple priorities with precision.
  • Proficient with foundational IT support and Google Workspace management.
  • Direct, professional written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship not available).
