Description

AUSTIN-BASED OPPORTUNITY: This position requires full-time, in-person presence at our dynamic Austin campus.

Are you the person who instinctively creates order from complexity? At Alpha, we're revolutionizing education for high-potential students who thrive on acceleration, meaningful challenges, and authentic responsibility. Our innovative 2-Hour Learning model combines academic intensity with essential life skills, creating an environment where students advance rapidly with confidence and purpose.

As our Campus Operations Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of our Austin location—the maestro orchestrating each day with precision and care. You'll safeguard our learning sanctuaries, ensure seamless transitions, provide frontline technical support, and maintain clear communication channels with our community. Your behind-the-scenes excellence will empower our Guides to focus entirely on student mentorship and development.

Join us if you excel in environments requiring exacting standards, decisive action, and tangible results. Help us build a campus where accelerated learning is the norm, independence is cultivated, and your operational brilliance quietly powers everything we achieve.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrating daily schedules with military precision to protect the integrity of our 2-Hour Learning blocks—ensuring punctual starts, distraction-free environments, and strong conclusions
  • Providing essential tech support including device configuration and troubleshooting, while coordinating with IT specialists for more complex issues
  • Creating and maintaining a secure, well-organized campus environment through emergency preparedness, incident documentation, vendor management, and facilities oversight
  • Delivering transparent, timely communications to students, families, and team members; rapidly resolving questions and meticulously documenting important decisions
  • Coordinating campus milestones and logistics—from community events to new student onboarding, supply management to space optimization—ensuring our learning environment is always prepared for excellence

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic content or developing curriculum materials; our specialized Guides handle student mentorship while you perfect the operational systems that support them
  • Working in isolation; your role is highly visible and directly connected to student achievement and family confidence in our program
  • Engaging in administrative tasks that don't directly enhance learning speed, campus safety, or educational quality

Key responsibilities

Your mission is to craft and maintain a campus environment that's consistently secure, prepared, and supportive—creating the optimal conditions where students and staff can dedicate their full attention to learning and development without logistical distractions or interruptions.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing complex operations in education settings, event coordination, hospitality industry, or comparable high-service environments
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations; proactive approach to problem-solving with strong capacity to prioritize competing demands without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Proficiency with fundamental IT support functions and Google Workspace administration
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that inspire confidence and trust
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; commitment to on-site presence in Austin, Texas (we cannot provide visa sponsorship)
