Campus Operations Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Austin campus.

If you spot disorder and reflexively map out the solution, this role will suit you. Alpha serves students who advance quickly, seek intellectual rigor, and are ready for real accountability. We combine demanding academics with practical life training and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework so children progress with speed and confidence. We're looking for an operator who can transform a dynamic school environment into a reliable, high-functioning system—every transition, every handoff, every element precisely managed.

At our Austin location, you'll be the force maintaining operational momentum: protecting time for deep learning, ensuring safe and efficient daily operations, and removing friction so Guides can dedicate full energy to mentoring. You'll manage facility workflows, front-line technology support, and family communication, building an environment where high standards are expected and self-reliance is cultivated. If you value clear benchmarks, decisive action, and measurable results, this work is designed for you.

Apply to build a campus where students accelerate their learning, families see tangible impact, and operational discipline serves as the foundation for everything else.

What you will be doing

  • Executing the daily schedule with accuracy so 2-Hour Learning sessions begin promptly, remain distraction-free, and conclude effectively.
  • Managing front-line technology tasks (device configuration, basic diagnostics) and coordinating hand-offs to IT when needed.
  • Upholding a secure, well-organized campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility preparedness.
  • Communicating effectively with students, families, and team members; resolving issues quickly and recording key decisions.
  • Enabling campus events—onboarding, programming, inventory and space logistics—so the site consistently operates at full readiness.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or designing lessons; Guides manage student development while you run the operational infrastructure.
  • Working in isolation; your role is campus-facing and directly impacts student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Spending energy on low-value tasks that don't enhance efficiency, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, organized, and enabling so that students and staff can concentrate on learning and development rather than operational distractions.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, event coordination, hospitality, or a comparable service-intensive setting.
  • Composed under pressure; self-directed problem-solver capable of balancing competing demands without sacrificing precision.
  • Proficient with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace tools.
  • Professional, courteous written and spoken communication that builds credibility.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.; able to work in-person at our Austin, TX campus (visa sponsorship not available).
