Outdoor Operations Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If you look at disorder and immediately start drafting the system, this role will suit you. Alpha serves students who advance quickly, seek difficulty, and expect meaningful ownership. We combine demanding academics with practical life skills and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework so children progress rapidly and with confidence. We're looking for an organizer who can transform a dynamic school environment into a seamless, high-functioning operation—every transition, every coordination point, every element precisely executed.

At our Austin location, you'll be the driver keeping everything running: protecting time for concentrated study, overseeing safe and structured daily operations, and removing friction so Guides can mentor without distraction. You'll manage facility logistics, frontline technology support, and family-facing communications, building a setting where ambition is the standard and self-reliance is cultivated. If you appreciate clear benchmarks, fast execution, and measurable results, this role is built for you.

Join us to build a campus where students accelerate their learning, families see tangible impact, and operational precision is the foundation of success.

What you will be doing

  • Executing the daily timeline with accuracy so 2-Hour Learning sessions begin promptly, remain distraction-free, and conclude effectively.
  • Managing initial technology requests (device configuration, routine troubleshooting) and routing complex issues to IT.
  • Sustaining a secure, well-organized campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor coordination, and facility preparedness.
  • Communicating with clarity to students, parents, and team members; resolving issues quickly and recording outcomes.
  • Enabling campus events—orientations, launches, inventory and space planning—so the environment consistently feels organized and ready.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing coursework; Guides manage student coaching while you maintain the infrastructure.
  • Working from a remote office; your impact is visible and directly linked to student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Investing energy in low-value tasks that don't enhance efficiency, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Keep the campus setting consistently safe, prepared, and conducive to focus so that learners and educators can concentrate on development and achievement, not operational distractions.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a similar service-intensive field.
  • Composed under stress; self-starting troubleshooter who can balance competing demands while maintaining precision.
  • Proficient with foundational IT support and Google Workspace administration.
  • Direct, professional written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship not available).
