We need a visionary operator to spearhead our facilities empire — someone who doesn't just manage projects but transforms how educational spaces come to life. You'll command a dedicated team including an SVP and multiple VPs, wielding complete budget authority and hiring power. Your mission: create the physical foundation for educational excellence while building AI-powered systems that make every future expansion smoother, faster, and more cost-effective.

What you will be doing

  • Commanding the national facilities strategy: orchestrating new construction, comprehensive renovations, and operational excellence across 25–30 campus locations
  • Building and directing a powerhouse team (SVP + VPs + support staff) with complete profit & loss accountability for facilities operations
  • Establishing and maintaining world-class standards for procurement, security infrastructure, furnishing, technology networks, and brand identity
  • Creating cutting-edge AI-powered operational playbooks and service level agreements that streamline every aspect of expansion
  • Partnering directly with the founder while synchronizing efforts across legal, financial, and compliance teams to guarantee on-time campus launches

What you will NOT be doing

  • Offering advice from the bench — you'll be the decision-maker driving action
  • Handling isolated, single-location projects — your vision encompasses national-scale systematic transformation
  • Maintaining legacy workflows — you'll architect revolutionary, AI-enhanced operational frameworks
  • Following executive directives — this position leads the expansion strategy rather than responding to it

Key responsibilities

Transform educational infrastructure nationwide — guaranteeing every campus achieves student-readiness, meets critical deadlines, and operates through scalable, AI-enhanced systems that set new industry standards.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience
  • Demonstrated success orchestrating sophisticated, multi-location execution initiatives under aggressive timelines with significant business impact
  • Proven leadership in new construction, large-scale facility improvements, and operational system implementation at national or international levels
  • Extensive background in retail construction and/or comprehensive maintenance programs where launch preparedness and standardization were business-critical
  • Established capability in building and directing elite teams, including complete budget and profit/loss responsibility
  • Outstanding analytical problem-solving abilities, stakeholder relationship management, and executive communication skills
  • Natural ability to thrive in high-urgency, autonomous, accountable environments typical of rapid-growth or private equity-supported organizations
  • Valid U.S. work authorization and flexibility for approximately 25% travel requirements
