Description

You've delivered when others couldn't: billion-dollar projects, high-stakes expansions, zero-margin transformations. Now lead the national mandate that will test everything you've built. 2 Hour Learning is scaling its revolutionary K-12 model across America. In the next six months, we're launching 25-30 campuses requiring new construction, major upgrades, and bulletproof operational systems. We need an elite operator to own this entire facilities pillar—because if the buildings aren't ready, nothing else happens. This isn't oversight. It's an execution mandate with capital, urgency, and authority behind it. You'll lead a full organizational stack, control budget and hiring decisions, and be accountable for building the physical foundation of our national expansion. You'll create AI-first playbooks that make future growth faster, cheaper, and smarter. 2 Hour Learning powers multiple fast-growing education brands built on one proven principle: students achieve a full year of academic growth in just two focused hours daily. We're private equity-backed, fully funded, and scaling nationally. This role is for operators who excel where failure isn't an option.

What you will be doing

  • Own the national facilities pillar with complete accountability for new builds, major upgrades, and operational systems across 25-30 campuses
  • Lead and scale a high-performance team (SVP, VPs, staff) with full P&L ownership and decision-making authority
  • Develop and enforce global standards across procurement, security, furniture, networking, and signage
  • Build and implement AI-first playbooks that systematically eliminate friction and accelerate expansion cycles
  • Report directly to the founder while coordinating cross-functionally to meet non-negotiable launch deadlines

What you will NOT be doing

  • Providing recommendations without execution authority—you make the decisions and own the outcomes
  • Managing isolated single-site projects—your mandate is building national systems and standards
  • Maintaining legacy processes—you'll architect next-generation, AI-driven operational playbooks
  • Waiting for executive direction—you drive expansion strategy, not react to it

Key responsibilities

Deliver, elevate, and sustain facilities nationwide—ensuring every campus is student-ready, on-time, and supported by scalable, AI-driven systems that enable our educational mission.

Candidate requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading complex, multi-site execution with measurable results
  • Proven track record delivering high-stakes projects with tight timelines and zero-margin-for-error outcomes
  • Direct leadership experience over new-builds, large-scale upgrades, and operational systems at national scale
  • Hands-on expertise with retail buildouts and/or large-scale maintenance programs where standardization was mission-critical
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams with full budget/P&L ownership
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication capabilities
  • Proven comfort operating with urgency, autonomy, and accountability in fast-growth environments
  • U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel ~25%

  • Experience launching or scaling regulated, multi-site ventures with complex compliance requirements
  • Background in education, retail, or healthcare expansion where facilities served as a critical dependency
