Regulatory Launch Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

If you have a knack for navigating conversations, whether with the office gatekeepers or the movers and shakers, this role is for you. You're perceptive, approachable, and practical. Even if compliance isn't your forte, you've tackled bureaucratic hurdles and gained trust along the way.

Join us at 2 Hour Learning, where we revolutionize education by achieving in two hours what traditional schools do in six. Our AI-driven approach personalizes learning, eliminating busywork and making school enjoyable again. Afternoons are for life skills and passion pursuits, shaping students into their true selves. We're not just transforming education; we're giving time back to students.

Your role is crucial in ensuring our campuses launch smoothly, legally, and punctually. You'll be the key player in opening doors for students in new cities, making calls, filing necessary documents, and gaining the approvals needed. You'll forge connections with clerks, inspectors, and all stakeholders to ensure everything is in place for day one.

Collaborate with operational leaders and gain insights from seasoned mentors. If you thrive on quick learning, precision, and tangible progress, we'll equip you with the rest. AI tools will be your daily companion — enhancing clarity and efficiency, not cutting corners.

If you're ready to drive change, take charge, and accelerate school openings, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Utilize AI tools and official resources to research and distill local licensing, permitting, and inspection requirements into actionable plans.
  • Establish trust with city and state agencies through calls, emails, and in-person visits to facilitate approvals.
  • Prepare and submit accurate filings, including licenses and exemptions, ensuring everything is tracked until approval.
  • Maintain up-to-date dashboards and documentation for real-time leadership visibility.
  • Engage in rapid learning, particularly in your first 90 days, with hands-on guidance and coaching.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making assumptions about regulations. You'll be trained to confirm facts and address uncertainties.
  • Waiting for instructions. This role demands proactive initiative from the outset.
  • Creating unnecessary content. Our AI tools prioritize clarity and precision.
  • Getting bogged down in abstract policy discussions. You'll tackle practical challenges in real jurisdictions.
  • Constant travel. Expect two to three weeks of travel per month, with expenses covered.

Key responsibilities

Ensure timely, compliant campus launches by blending AI-driven research with hands-on coordination and effective relationship-building.

Candidate requirements

  • Must be based in the U.S. and authorized to work without visa sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time across U.S. cities and states.
  • Proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Claude for research and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a warm, confident demeanor.
  • Commitment to deadlines and deliverables, treating them as personal commitments.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring no errors in attachments, forms, or filings.
  • Ability to learn quickly, especially in new or ambiguous environments.
  • Comfortable managing multiple timelines and conversations simultaneously.
  • Reliable access to a computer and the internet.

Nice to have

  • Experience in customer-facing, compliance-related, or operations-intensive roles.
  • Background in public policy, communications, business, or legal studies.
  • Experience in resolving complex logistical challenges in various roles.
