Description

Visionaries don't just maintain spaces—they transform them into experiences. This is your opportunity to redefine excellence.

You're the rare talent who walks into an empty building and sees beyond walls and fixtures. You envision the complete experience: the strategically placed furniture that reflects our distinctive brand, the welcoming signage that makes families feel at home, the flawlessly functioning systems, and those thoughtful touches that instantly assure ultra-high-net-worth parents they've made the right educational choice. As our Regional Operations Manager, you'll own that critical final phase where concrete and steel become an extraordinary 2 Hour Learning campus.

This isn't about following established protocols—it's about creating them. You'll architect the sophisticated tracking systems and procurement workflows that become the gold standard across our expanding network of 25+ campuses. Whether orchestrating major renovations or solving last-minute technical challenges, your systems will establish and deliver unwavering excellence. Forget the stereotype of a plodding facilities position. You'll be masterfully balancing new location launches, vendor relationships, and rapidly evolving priorities with remarkable composure.

If you've ever surveyed a space, confidently declared "I can elevate this," and then proceeded to do exactly that—we need to talk.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrate the transformation of spaces into impeccably prepared campuses that are visitor-ready, operationally sound, and aesthetically aligned with our brand—delivering excellence without exceptions or eleventh-hour complications.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge AI-enhanced monitoring systems and comprehensive checklists that track readiness metrics across interior design, furnishings, signage, IT infrastructure, and operational frameworks.
  • Spearhead multi-location enhancement initiatives—from vendor selection and negotiation to budget management and timeline adherence, all while minimizing educational disruption.
  • Establish and enforce consistent standards spanning from premium hospitality elements to complex building systems—ensuring a uniform, exceptional experience across all locations.
  • Implement sophisticated predictive maintenance protocols and swift issue resolution across our national network using IoT technology, AI solutions, and precisely defined service level agreements.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Relying on outdated spreadsheet management—your approach leverages real-time, AI-enhanced systems deployed across our entire campus network.
  • Following others' definitions of operational excellence—you'll be the standard-bearer who ensures every detail is perfect from opening day.
  • Settling for mediocrity when serving elite families or executive leadership—every campus must create an immediate impression of excellence.
  • Focusing on isolated projects—your role demands simultaneous oversight of daily operations, facility enhancements, and maintenance schedules nationwide.
  • Seeking comfort in established processes—this position requires an innovative builder's mindset, not a caretaker's approach.

Key responsibilities

Lead the comprehensive transformation of newly constructed campuses into fully operational, premium educational environments by designing and implementing sophisticated systems that guarantee each location is operationally ready, visually consistent with our brand identity, and functioning at optimal performance levels.

Candidate requirements

  • U.S. resident with legal authorization to work without requiring sponsorship
  • Comfort with extensive travel (50-75% of time) to campus locations throughout the United States
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in operations management, facilities oversight, or project leadership, including demonstrated success managing readiness or improvement initiatives across multiple locations
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering projects that meet timeline, budget, and quality specifications in dynamic, fast-evolving environments
  • Proficiency with AI platforms and low-code development tools (such as GPT, Airtable, Retool, and Zapier) for effective project and vendor management
  • Exceptional execution velocity—independently drives deliverables to completion without requiring supervision
  • Forward-thinking problem solver who anticipates challenges before they materialize and applies rigorous oversight to vendor relationships and project timelines

Nice to have

  • Professional background in premium hospitality environments, luxury retail operations, or private membership clubs
  • New York City residence or willingness to make frequent trips to our NYC flagship location
  • Working knowledge of capital expenditure processes and construction project workflows (beneficial but not mandatory)
  • Refined aesthetic sensibility for customer-facing design elements and décor selections
  • Previous success developing centralized procurement frameworks and systems
