Site Reliability Engineer $100,000USD/year ($50 USD/hour)

Description

Ready to revolutionize cloud infrastructure with AI? While others struggle with manual processes and reactive troubleshooting, you'll be architecting self-healing systems that prevent issues before they occur. At IgniteTech, we're not just maintaining infrastructure – we're teaching it to maintain itself.

We're pioneering AI-first cloud solutions that anticipate and prevent problems, creating environments that evolve continuously. Our approach has already reduced deployment times by 30% and automated resolution for 95% of potential issues. Now we're looking for a forward-thinking Site Reliability Engineer to help us push these boundaries even further.

If you're tired of fighting fires and ready to build systems that prevent them instead, this role is your opportunity to shape the future of cloud operations. You'll work with cutting-edge AI technology to create infrastructure that's not just reliable, but predictive and self-optimizing.

What you will be doing

  • Design and implement AI-powered monitoring systems that detect and resolve issues autonomously
  • Architect intelligent CI/CD pipelines that minimize human intervention while maximizing deployment efficiency
  • Develop and maintain self-healing infrastructure using advanced machine learning algorithms
  • Lead initiatives to integrate AI capabilities into existing cloud services and operations

What you will NOT be doing

  • Spending hours on manual system monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Writing repetitive scripts for routine maintenance tasks
  • Responding to midnight alerts for issues that could have been prevented
  • Managing traditional, static monitoring systems

Key responsibilities

Transform our cloud infrastructure into an AI-driven, self-managing system that maintains 99.99% uptime while continuously evolving to meet emerging challenges and opportunities.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of DevOps experience, including automation of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management
  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proficiency in AI and machine learning tools used for monitoring, automation, and predictive analytics (or strong willingness to learn and adapt to AI-driven technologies)
  • Strong programming and scripting skills, with experience in automating tasks and building AI-driven processes
