You will be working with our senior team to define compelling strategies and visions for our products as we become the leader in Public Cloud solutions for the telecommunications industry. The industry has not yet embarked on the cloud and digital transformation path, and this is a unique opportunity to transform the playing field. 

Similar to working at a startup yet without the barriers, ZephyrTel is a proven provider to the Telco industry with hundreds of customers and resources. Since we focus on transformation rather than features, you will never have to implement another single misguided requirement.

You will work in an unconstrained fashion to define the strategic vision of a leader in the Telco industry. Communicating with customers, you will guide transformative investments and execute the commercial strategy. With the SVP of Product Management, your work will take place in a highly acquisitive environment with a continuous stream of exciting new challenges and products.

What you will be doing

  • Define compelling cloud-based visions
  • Through Business Value Stories, crafting innovative commercial proposals for customers
  • Develop insights from Deep Analysis of existing product, sales, and finance data
  • Develop simple Sales Data Structures defining clearly the value map of the solution to the customer needs
  • Enable any salesperson to deliver a consistent message to the customer base

What you will NOT be doing

  • Stay trapped in a vicious cycle of trying to deliver customer requirements and force-fit them into corporate strategy
  • Manage product feature and defect backlogs and think this is product management or a roadmap
  • Survey customers on the top features they would like in the product
  • Project manage delivery teams

Key responsibilities

  • Building and communicating compelling vision statements for ZephyrTel's cloud-native software stack
  • Developing clear product roadmaps for ZephyrTel solutions
  • Working with Engineering and Operations to deliver market-leading products that create great customer experiences and revolutionize the TCO and business agility available to Telco customers

Candidate requirements

  • B2B software product management experience
  • Domain experience in Telco and native-cloud migration
  • Demonstrated ability to translate internal operations to great customer experience
  • Passion and knowledge of a native-cloud solutions evangelist
