Description

Are you tired of maintaining stagnant legacy systems? Do you want to apply your Perl expertise to developing exciting new products and features that run on the latest cloud infrastructure? This is the role you have been dreaming of.

We build B2B software products with Perl that run at scale and are actively being developed and improved. We are constantly evolving our products and implementing ambitious features that will require you to flex and improve your Perl skills. Our products run on AWS and in this role you will get to use exciting cutting-edge cloud technology, such as Amazon Machine Learning and Lambda Edge.

Upland hires the top global developers and expects them to do what they do best. Unlike other jobs, where what you are coding is very narrowly scoped or you are only maintaining legacy applications, in this role you will participate in the entire development process and focus on doing what you enjoy the most. Shipping high-quality production code that matters. Every day.

We have a strong engineering culture focused on giving developers ownership and autonomy over their tasks. You will work as part of a collaborative team of Perl experts, which will make you a better engineer while making meaningful contributions towards achieving your team’s ambitious goals.

This 100%-remote, work-from-anywhere position is an exciting next step for Perl developers tired of working with the same old tech. Sharpen your skills and help us deliver our suite of top-quality, cloud based software packages to millions of users globally.
