Director of Marketing - Public K-12 Initiatives   $150,000 USD/year

Description

If you’re a full-stack marketer who’s obsessed with execution and can quickly wrap your head around a complex, high-impact customer—this role is your proving ground.

Studient is transforming how U.S. public schools support struggling students. Our AI-powered Motivention™ platform personalizes learning for every student while slashing administrative overload for teachers. It’s built for MTSS and special education—and it’s working: students using Studient catch up 4.6x faster than peers, and schools only pay when they see measurable growth.

Your mission? Own and scale marketing from the ground up. You’ll develop the go-to-market strategy, sharpen the brand, and execute demand-gen campaigns that deliver qualified leads to our sales team. You’ll work directly with the CEO and get full creative control—no bureaucracy, no legacy tools, and no distractions.

If you thrive in roles where strategic thinking meets daily execution, and you're energized by the challenge of reaching public education buyers with sharp, smart messaging—let’s talk.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies to drive adoption of Studient’s MTSS solution in U.S. public schools
  • Create a distinct brand identity that resonates with district-level decision-makers and special education leaders
  • Build and optimize campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.—owning copy, creative, and performance
  • Produce high-impact content including sales decks, brochures, landing pages, and social posts, using AI tools where helpful
  • Identify and secure speaking slots, PR hits, and thought leadership opportunities to expand brand authority

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing a big team or outsourcing the hard parts—this is a hands-on role for a doer
  • Treating public sector marketing like B2B SaaS—our buyers are unique, and you’ll need to adapt fast
  • Waiting on approvals or getting stuck in planning loops—we value speed and results
  • Relying on legacy channels that don’t convert—we test, iterate, and invest where it works
  • Dismissing AI as hype—our product runs on it, and your workflow should too

Key responsibilities

Drive qualified lead generation and district-level adoption of Studient’s MTSS platform by building and executing a high-performance, brand-forward marketing strategy.

Candidate requirements

  • 5+ years in marketing roles with full funnel ownership (strategy to execution)
  • Experience marketing to U.S. buyers in public sector, education, or government-adjacent industries
  • Demonstrated success in digital campaigns—especially Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Strong content chops—can write, edit, and design with clarity and purpose
  • Fluency with AI tools to accelerate workflow and maintain quality
  • Data-driven, goal-oriented, and energized by building from zero
  • Fluent in English
