Description

Most professional services teams are bloated, reactive, and stuck in a headcount trap. They scale by hiring, not by productizing. According to TSIA, over 60% of PS orgs struggle with margin erosion as complexity rises, and even fewer have playbooks that can handle the AI-native shift. These teams spend more time firefighting than building — and even when they win deals, Engineering ends up buried under customer-specific work.

IgniteTech does it differently. Our PS org is AI-first by design. That means the playbook begins with automation, not bodies. We’re building a delivery engine that runs like a product: lean, standardized, and tech-led. Think less billable hours, more reusable modules and rollout flows that scale. Our mission is to unlock Engineering to build the core product while we own enterprise adoption end-to-end, and we’re not afraid to rewrite how that happens.

In this role, you’ll lead customer implementations with full ownership from scope to adoption. You’ll define and enforce AI-native delivery playbooks. You’ll coach and manage a team of high-performers, not babysit B players. And when there’s an escalation, you’ll calmly de-escalate, fix the root cause, and restore confidence without breaking the system. You’ll be the external face of our delivery org, leading with clarity, precision, and zero fluff. You’ll run implementations like product launches, not like consulting gigs. If you're the kind of operator who builds durable systems instead of relying on brute force, this is your arena.

What you will be doing

  • Customer Implementations – Full ownership of standardized onboarding and rollout processes that drive rapid time-to-value for customers using AI-first delivery models.
  • Delivery Playbooks – Creation, continuous improvement, and enforcement of repeatable implementation frameworks that elevate execution quality across teams.
  • Team Enablement & Performance Management – Driving high performance through targeted coaching, metrics-driven oversight, and systematic process refinements that enhance delivery consistency.
  • Escalation & Retention Interventions – Leading structured recovery workflows to swiftly resolve implementation issues and protect at-risk accounts.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience leading a professional services organization at a B2B software company
  • Experience managing customer escalations directly
  • Advanced generative AI proficiency and experience integrating AI tools and LLMs into professional services or delivery processes
