Your focus will be on delivering excellence, making sure our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meaningful.

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-inspired learning platform.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, enchanting narratives that enhance understanding.
  • TimeBack: Serves as an intelligent learning assistant that connects with existing tools, offering proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: Employs AI-created videos and assessments to produce quantifiable academic results.

This position centers on creating tangible impact through functional software. You'll leverage AI capabilities and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems addressing substantial challenges—not merely completing tasks. You're expected to deliver rapidly while maintaining standards, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that harmonizes immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and Deploy Complete Features: Transform user stories from concept to reality; define requirements, architect scalable systems, implement both backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to production
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Trace issues using root cause methodologies, address underlying problems (rather than surface symptoms), and prevent regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Standards: Assess designs and pull requests to maintain clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt from accumulating

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems purely for complexity's sake
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending time in continuous meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or tracking down stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; you're accountable for resolving genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, delivers quickly, and remains sustainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Demonstrated experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not just contributing siloed tasks
  • Independent execution: The ability to unblock yourself, set your own pace, and find paths forward in ambiguous situations
  • Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
