Full Stack Engineer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Are you a Full-Stack Engineer energized by tackling intricate challenges and shipping features that matter? We're building AI-powered products that reshape how people learn and develop, and we need you to deliver high-quality execution that keeps our systems scalable, maintainable, and impactful.

Our products are redefining learning experiences:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures in a TikTok-style educational platform.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, enchanting storytelling designed to improve comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning copilot that connects with existing applications and actively coaches students.
  • Athena: Delivers measurable academic results using AI-generated videos and assessments.

This position focuses on creating tangible impact through functional software. You'll leverage AI tools and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack solutions that address meaningful challenges, not simply complete tasks. You're expected to move quickly while maintaining rigor, selecting the simplest viable approach that achieves both immediate velocity and sustained maintainability.

If you're prepared to tackle demanding technical problems and ship meaningful features, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and Deploy Full-Stack Features: Transform user stories from concept to production; clarify specifications, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct thorough testing, and release to live environments
  • Track Down and Resolve Bugs: Perform root cause analysis to investigate issues, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Quality Standards: Assess plans and pull requests to enforce clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt from entering the codebase

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems purely for complexity's sake
  • Executing specifications without first understanding the underlying problem
  • Spending time in prolonged meetings about roadmaps and priorities or tracking down colleagues
  • Simply delivering features; you'll own the responsibility of solving genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses real user needs, ships rapidly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Strong ownership mindset: Proven track record of owning entire modules, product features, or teams, not merely contributing isolated tasks
  • Self-sufficient execution: Capability to remove blockers independently, control your own workflow, and navigate forward in uncertain environments
  • Hands-on experience using generative A.I. as part of your everyday development process
