Are you a Full-Stack Engineer drawn to complex problem-solving and the delivery of high-impact features? Join us to create innovative AI-powered products that reshape how individuals learn and develop. Your focus will be on high-quality execution, making certain our products remain scalable, maintainable, and impactful.

You'll contribute to products that are revolutionizing learning:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style learning environment.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, magical storytelling that enhances comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning copilot integrated with existing applications, offering proactive coaching to students.
  • Athena: Employs AI-generated videos and assessments to produce measurable academic results.

This position is designed to generate real-world impact through functional software. You'll leverage AI tools and cloud-native technologies to construct full-stack systems addressing meaningful challenges, not merely completing tickets. You'll be expected to deliver quickly without compromising quality, selecting the simplest correct approach that reconciles immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

What you will be doing

  • Build and Ship Full-Stack Features: Guide user stories from concept to impact; clarify requirements, architect scalable solutions, implement backend and frontend code, conduct thorough testing, and deploy to production
  • Hunt Down and Fix Bugs: Diagnose issues via root cause analysis, resolve the underlying problems (not just symptoms), and prevent regressions through intelligent testing
  • Raise the Bar on Code Quality: Evaluate plans and pull requests to ensure clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing tech debt from accumulating

What you will NOT be doing

  • Building pixel-perfect UIs or intricate backends simply for complexity's sake
  • Blindly executing specifications without grasping the underlying problem
  • Getting trapped in endless meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or chasing colleagues
  • Just shipping features; you'll be accountable for solving genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Utilizing AI to build software that addresses real user problems, delivers quickly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Proven experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not merely contributing isolated tasks
  • Independent execution: The capacity to unblock yourself, establish your own pace, and identify paths forward in ambiguous situations
  • Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
