The products you'll contribute to are revolutionizing education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style learning interface.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, immersive storytelling that enhances comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning copilot, embedding within existing applications to proactively guide students.
  • Athena: Delivers measurable academic results through AI-generated video content and assessments.

This position is designed to create tangible impact via functioning software. You will leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems addressing substantive challenges, not simply completing tasks. You are expected to deliver rapidly while maintaining standards, selecting the simplest viable solution that harmonizes immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

What you will be doing

  • Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Shepherd user stories from concept through delivery; refine requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, validate rigorously, and release to production
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Conduct root cause investigations, address underlying issues rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Standards: Evaluate technical plans and pull requests for clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Crafting pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend architectures for their own sake
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending time in prolonged meetings about roadmaps and priorities or pursuing stakeholders for clarification
  • Merely delivering features; you will be accountable for solving genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to create software that addresses authentic user needs, ships quickly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Proven ownership: Verified track record owning entire modules, product capabilities, or teams, beyond isolated task contributions
  • Self-sufficient execution: Capacity to remove your own blockers, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward through ambiguous circumstances
  • Practical experience using generative A.I. as part of your daily development workflow
