Are you a Full-Stack Engineer energized by tackling intricate problems and shipping features that drive meaningful results? Your focus will be on high-caliber execution, ensuring our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and impactful.

You'll contribute to products reshaping the learning landscape:

  • TeachTap: Utilizes AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-inspired learning environment.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, enchanting storytelling that enhances comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Serves as a learning copilot integrated with existing applications, offering proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: Employs AI-generated videos and assessments to produce measurable academic results.

This position centers on generating tangible impact through functional software. You'll leverage AI tools and cloud-native technologies to construct full-stack systems addressing substantive challenges, not merely completing tickets. You'll be expected to deliver rapidly without compromising quality, selecting the simplest viable solution that reconciles immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

What you will be doing

  • Design and Deploy Full-Stack Features: Shepherd user stories from concept to delivery; refine requirements, architect scalable solutions, implement backend and frontend logic, validate rigorously, and release to production
  • Track Down and Resolve Bugs: Diagnose issues via root cause analysis, address underlying problems (not surface symptoms), and prevent regressions through intelligent testing
  • Elevate Code Quality Standards: Evaluate plans and pull requests to verify clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at the source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Crafting pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems solely for complexity's sake
  • Mechanically executing specifications without comprehending the underlying challenge
  • Spending excessive time in meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or pursuing stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; you'll own the resolution of genuine user problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to create software that addresses authentic user needs, delivers quickly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Strong ownership mindset: Proven track record owning entire modules, product features, or teams, beyond isolated task contributions
  • Self-directed execution: Capacity to remove your own blockers, control your own velocity, and navigate ambiguous circumstances
  • Hands-on experience incorporating generative A.I. into your daily development workflow
