Full Stack Developer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Are you a Full-Stack Engineer driven by complex problem-solving and the delivery of high-impact functionality? Join us to create cutting-edge AI-powered products that reshape the way individuals learn and develop. Your focus will be on superior execution, guaranteeing that our products remain scalable, maintainable, and impactful.

You will contribute to products that are revolutionizing education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style learning platform.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, enchanting narratives that enhance comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning copilot integrated with current applications, offering proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: Employs AI-generated videos and assessments to produce measurable academic results.

This position is designed to generate tangible impact through functional software. You will leverage AI tools and cloud-native technologies to construct full-stack systems addressing meaningful challenges, not merely completing tasks. You are expected to deliver rapidly without compromising quality, selecting the simplest appropriate solution that reconciles immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

If you are prepared to tackle sophisticated technical obstacles and produce impactful functionality, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Transform user stories from concept to delivery; validate requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to production
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Diagnose issues using root cause analysis, address underlying problems (rather than surface symptoms), and prevent regressions through strategic testing
  • Elevate Code Standards: Assess plans and pull requests to confirm clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt from taking root

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or elaborate backend systems as ends in themselves
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending excessive time in meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; your responsibility extends to solving genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys quickly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for web application frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Proven track record owning entire modules, product features, or teams, beyond isolated task contributions
  • Independent execution: Capacity to remove your own blockers, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward in uncertain environments
  • Experience incorporating generative A.I. into your daily development workflow
