You'll contribute to products revolutionizing education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style educational platform.
  • TeachTales: Captivates learners through customized, enchanting narratives that enhance understanding.
  • TimeBack: Serves as an intelligent learning assistant that connects with current applications, actively guiding students.
  • Athena: Employs AI-created videos and assessments to produce tangible educational results.

This position is designed to create tangible value through functional software. You'll leverage AI capabilities and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack platforms addressing genuine challenges, not merely completing tasks. You'll be required to deliver quickly while maintaining quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that harmonizes immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

What you will be doing

  • Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Transform user requirements from concept to reality; validate specifications, architect scalable systems, implement both backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to production
  • Track Down and Resolve Defects: Diagnose problems using root cause methodology, address underlying issues (rather than surface symptoms), and prevent recurrence through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Standards: Assess architectural plans and code submissions to verify clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt from taking root

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems for their own sake
  • Mechanically executing specifications without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending time in continuous meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or tracking down stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; you'll own the responsibility of addressing genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, delivers rapidly, and remains sustainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Demonstrated experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not just contributing siloed tasks
  • Independent execution: The ability to unblock yourself, set your own pace, and find paths forward in ambiguous situations
  • Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
