Description

Are you a Full-Stack Developer who excels at tackling intricate problems and shipping meaningful features? This role is about building cutting-edge AI-driven products that reshape how individuals learn and develop. Your focus will be on disciplined execution, ensuring every product you touch is scalable, maintainable, and delivers real value.

The products you'll contribute to are redefining education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style learning format.
  • TeachTales: Captivates learners through personalized, enchanting narratives that improve understanding.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning assistant that works alongside existing applications, offering proactive student guidance.
  • Athena: Delivers measurable educational results using AI-created videos and assessments.

This position centers on creating tangible outcomes through production-ready software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack solutions that address genuine challenges—not simply complete task lists. Shipping quickly while maintaining quality is expected, and you'll consistently select the most straightforward correct approach that reconciles immediate velocity with sustainable architecture.

What you will be doing

  • Ship Complete Full-Stack Features: Drive user stories from concept through deployment; clarify needs, architect scalable designs, implement backend and frontend logic, validate thoroughly, and release to production
  • Identify and Resolve Bugs: Trace issues to their root causes, address the underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent future regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Standards: Assess design proposals and pull requests to enforce clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Crafting pixel-perfect interfaces or elaborate backend systems without clear purpose
  • Implementing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying challenge
  • Spending time in prolonged meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating across teams
  • Simply delivering features; your accountability extends to solving meaningful problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to create software that addresses genuine user needs, ships rapidly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Demonstrated experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not just contributing siloed tasks
  • Independent execution: The ability to unblock yourself, set your own pace, and find paths forward in ambiguous situations
  • Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
