Campus Operations Manager   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Austin, TX campus.

Are you tired of waiting on others to resolve issues you could handle immediately? At Nova Academy, you will serve as the go-to expert responsible for keeping campus operations running efficiently, addressing operational obstacles with agility, innovation, and accountability.

Your responsibilities will span from resolving technical device issues to orchestrating seamless events and maintaining campus security—work that is essential to our mission. Your contributions will be highly visible as you develop strong connections with students, families, and colleagues who recognize and appreciate your skills and commitment. At Nova Academy, your workday extends beyond staying occupied—it becomes purposeful, varied, and genuinely fulfilling.

Why Nova Academy?

  • Learning from the Best: Work alongside seasoned professionals throughout our network, acquiring knowledge and skills that accelerate your professional development.
  • Growth Opportunities: With guidance from the Campus Director and Lead Campus Coordinator, gradually assume expanded responsibilities—from family communications to operational leadership—strengthening your capabilities and impact.
  • Playbook for Success: Implement a proven operational framework, becoming proficient in developing, refining, and executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within a rapidly growing school network.
  • Training and Mentorship: As your experience grows, support the development of others by delivering training and guidance to incoming team members across multiple campuses.

If you are prepared to leave behind an atmosphere of excessive oversight, red tape, or minimal impact and enter a position where your choices carry weight, we invite you to join our team.

What you will be doing

  • Taking full ownership of day-to-day campus operations—covering fire safety protocols, staff onboarding processes, and maintaining an uninterrupted learning environment.
  • Addressing technical challenges directly: diagnosing problems, overseeing device transitions, and acting as the primary resource for technology-related issues.
  • Preparing professional, well-organized event spaces and guaranteeing flawless execution.
  • Cultivating trust among students, families, and colleagues through transparent communication and superior service delivery.
  • Maintaining campus security by implementing robust protocols, conducting drills, and enforcing safety standards.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or designing academic content—your priority is operational performance, not teaching.
  • Following inflexible procedures or waiting for others to initiate solutions—this position demands proactive leadership.
  • Operating independently—achievement in this role depends on teamwork and active community involvement.
  • Becoming trapped in routine or repetitive work—this position provides diversity and substantive challenges.

Key responsibilities

Maintain smooth campus operations while establishing trust and providing outstanding service to students, staff, and families.

  • Demonstrated capacity to troubleshoot issues and handle operational coordination with assurance
