Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person role located at our NYC campus.

Elite minds require elite operations. At Alpha, we're not just another private school—we're revolutionizing education for gifted students who complete high school academics by 8th grade. We need an exceptional IT Coordinator to power the operational backbone of our innovative campus.

Our students achieve 5s on APs and 1350+ SAT scores while mastering crucial life skills through our accelerated 2-Hour Learning model. This isn't education as usual—this is where academic excellence meets real-world preparation at twice the traditional pace.

As our IT Coordinator, you'll orchestrate the systems that enable our guides to focus entirely on developing these exceptional young minds. From campus safety to technology administration, your operational excellence will directly contribute to an environment where academic competition thrives and students reach their limitless potential.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrate flawless daily operations across our NYC campus, ensuring our accelerated learning environment functions without interruption
  • Provide first-line technology support and troubleshooting while coordinating with advanced IT resources for complex issues
  • Cultivate strong community relationships through precise, professional communication with our network of gifted students, ambitious parents, and dedicated staff
  • Implement and enforce rigorous campus safety protocols that protect our high-achieving learning environment
  • Drive successful campus initiatives including community events, efficient staff onboarding, and strategic facility management

What you will NOT be doing

  • Developing curriculum or providing academic instruction—our specialized guides handle student mentorship while you ensure operational excellence
  • Working without purpose or impact—every operational task you manage directly supports our mission of accelerated, limitless learning
  • Processing routine paperwork that doesn't advance our educational model—your focus remains on high-impact operational functions
  • Operating in isolation—you'll be an integral part of a team revolutionizing education for exceptional students

Key responsibilities

Power the operational engine behind our revolutionary educational model, creating an environment where operations are seamless, technology functions flawlessly, and our community of gifted students, dedicated guides, and ambitious families experience the extraordinary difference of Alpha's accelerated learning approach.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or comparable environments
  • Demonstrated capacity to maintain composure during crises, take decisive initiative, and independently prioritize competing demands
  • Proficient technical aptitude with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that build and maintain community trust
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and ability to work on-site at our NYC campus
