IMPORTANT NOTE: This position requires in-person presence at our Austin, Texas campus.
Traditional schools focus on teaching students what to think. This position focuses on teaching them how to execute.
Alpha is creating a new model for high school education—one that replaces lectures and memorization with building, shipping, communicating, and growing. Students launch projects, experiment with ideas, and cultivate practical skills that many adults never acquire. Your role is to ensure they follow through and perform at a high standard.
You will engage directly with high school students as they launch businesses, manage projects, and build the confidence, communication skills, and competence needed to thrive beyond the classroom. Your focus is not on theory—it's on coaching execution. You will establish rigorous standards, maintain accountability, and challenge students to create work that holds up in real-world contexts.
This position is designed for individuals who have accomplished something substantive outside academia—whether building a product, cultivating an audience, operating within a startup, or delivering results in a high-intensity setting—and are ready to leverage that expertise to develop the next generation. If you seek a conventional teaching position, this role is not suitable. If you are motivated to influence how driven teenagers think, act, and perform, this is the opportunity.
If you have achieved meaningful results in your career and are ready to dedicate your time to guiding motivated teenagers toward their full potential, apply now.
Produce quantifiable improvement in students' confidence, communication ability, and real-world competence by coaching them toward consistent high-level execution.
