In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, authenticity, and high standards. You will manage day-to-day correspondence, organize impactful admissions activities, and keep applicant data current to support informed decision-making.

If you excel in a dynamic, purpose-led setting—where prompt communication, meticulous organization, and accuracy have a direct effect on family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid opportunity combines remote flexibility with consistent in-person participation at admissions activities.

What you will be doing

Manage and respond to the admissions inbox with professionalism, timeliness, and care for prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with meticulous precision

Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow experiences, and community gatherings, whether on-site or virtual

Collaborate directly with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow visits

Ensure admissions platforms, files, and outreach remain current and precise

What you will NOT be doing

  • Create admissions policies or render final acceptance decisions
  • Function exclusively in an administrative capacity without family-facing responsibilities
  • Work within a sluggish, overly bureaucratic structure
  • Concentrate solely on relationship cultivation without rigorous execution and follow-through

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that a smooth, high-performing admissions process fuels robust enrollment and family satisfaction at Alpha's campuses.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience in education, whether as a teacher, in admissions, enrollment management, or a related field
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience in admissions, enrollment, events, or similar areas
  • Excellent administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and precise
  • Strong attention to detail and proven experience managing accurate applicant files or CRM systems
  • Comfortable managing remote responsibilities alongside in-person campus duties
  • Able to adjust rapidly and succeed in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment
  • Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in Austin; TX, San Francisco; CA, Santa Barbara; CA or NYC; NY
