NOTE: This hybrid position requires in-person presence at one of three locations: San Francisco, Santa Barbara, or NYC.

In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, authenticity, and excellence. Your work will include managing daily correspondence, organizing impactful admissions events, and keeping applicant data accurate to support sound decision-making.

If you excel in dynamic, purpose-driven settings—where responsiveness, meticulous organization, and accuracy directly influence family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role provides both remote flexibility and consistent in-person involvement at admissions activities.

What you will be doing

Manage and respond to the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional correspondence with prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with rigorous attention to detail

Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, whether on campus or virtual

Work closely with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day schedules

Maintain admissions platforms, records, and follow-up workflows with precision and currency

What you will NOT be doing

  • Develop admissions policy or render final admissions determinations
  • Perform exclusively administrative tasks with no direct family engagement
  • Function within a slow-moving, overly bureaucratic structure
  • Emphasize relationship-building alone without disciplined follow-through and operational execution

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that a frictionless, high-conversion admissions process fuels robust enrollment and family satisfaction throughout Alpha's campus network.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience in education, whether as a teacher, in admissions, enrollment management, or a comparable area
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience in admissions, enrollment, events, or similar capacities
  • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and detail-focused
  • High degree of attention to detail and track record maintaining precise applicant records or CRM systems
  • Comfortable managing the balance between remote responsibilities and in-person campus duties
  • Capable of adapting swiftly and excelling in a fast-moving, mission-oriented setting
  • Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in San Francisco; CA, Santa Barbara; CA or NYC; NY
