In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial outreach through enrollment, ensuring every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, care, and high standards. You will manage ongoing communications, organize impactful admissions events, and keep applicant data accurate to support sound decision-making.

If you excel in mission-focused, high-energy settings—where attention to detail, responsiveness, and organization drive family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role combines remote flexibility with regular on-site participation in admissions activities.

What you will be doing

Manage and own the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, professional, and considerate communication to prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with meticulous attention to accuracy

Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, whether held on campus or online

Work closely with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day visits

Maintain admissions platforms, records, and follow-up activities with precision and currency

What you will NOT be doing

  • Shape admissions strategy or render final admissions judgments
  • Function in an entirely administrative capacity without direct family engagement
  • Work within a sluggish, heavily procedural structure
  • Emphasize relationship development alone, without robust execution and accountability

Key responsibilities

This role ensures that a frictionless, high-conversion admissions process fuels robust enrollment and family satisfaction throughout Alpha's campuses.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and precise
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated experience managing accurate applicant records or CRM data
  • Comfortable managing remote responsibilities alongside in-person campus duties
  • Able to adapt swiftly and succeed in a dynamic, mission-driven setting
  • Authorized to work in the US and available to work in-person in NYC; NY resident or willing to relocate

Nice to have

  • Experience in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Background facilitating admissions events or high-touch onboarding workflows
  • Familiarity with rapidly evolving, technology-enabled environments
