Description

This position has you shepherding families from initial contact through final enrollment, with every touchpoint demonstrating clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism. You will handle daily communication flows, organize admissions activities, and keep precise records that enable sound decision-making. Details and consistent follow-through define success in this role.

Your work spans both digital and on-site environments as you help families grasp a model that diverges from conventional schooling. How clearly you communicate, how organized you remain, and how seamlessly you orchestrate the experience will directly shape enrollment outcomes and family confidence.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, clear, and professional responses to prospective families
  • Shepherd families through each stage of admissions with reliable follow-up and clearly defined next steps
  • Facilitate and execute admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings
  • Collaborate with campus staff to arrange student visits and deliver a seamless experience
  • Keep admissions records current and accurate, tracking every application and follow-up action

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working exclusively behind the scenes with no direct family contact
  • Navigating a slow-moving or heavily bureaucratic setting
  • Concentrating solely on communication without robust execution and accountability
  • Creating admissions strategy or rendering final enrollment decisions

Key responsibilities

Deliver a clear, responsive, and expertly managed admissions experience that drives strong enrollment and builds positive family relationships.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable balancing remote work with in-person event responsibilities
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to attend in-person campus events

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations
  • Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families
