Description

Alpha Waypoint is redefining the school experience through an outdoor, experiential model that develops independence, resilience, and practical competence in students while delivering strong academic results.

This position involves shepherding families through the entire admissions journey—from initial contact to final enrollment—with every touchpoint demonstrating professionalism, clarity, and attentiveness. You will handle ongoing communication, organize admissions activities, and keep precise records that enable sound decision-making. In this role, attention to detail and reliable execution are paramount.

Your work will span both digital and face-to-face environments as you help families grasp a model that diverges from conventional schooling. Your capacity to articulate information clearly, maintain organization, and deliver a seamless experience will have a direct bearing on enrollment numbers and family confidence.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the admissions inbox to deliver prompt, clear, and professional responses to prospective families
  • Shepherd families through each admissions phase with reliable follow-up and clearly defined next steps
  • Plan and execute admissions events such as information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings
  • Collaborate with campus personnel to arrange student visits and deliver a frictionless experience
  • Keep admissions records current and accurate, monitoring all applications and follow-up activities

What you will NOT be doing

  • Operating solely in administrative roles with no direct family engagement
  • Working within a slow-moving or heavily bureaucratic system
  • Concentrating on communication alone without delivering tangible execution and follow-through
  • Formulating admissions strategy or making ultimate enrollment determinations

Key responsibilities

Deliver a clear, responsive, and well-coordinated admissions process that drives robust enrollment and cultivates positive family relationships.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable balancing remote work with in-person event responsibilities
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to attend in-person campus events

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations
  • Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families
