In this capacity, you will guide each family's experience from initial outreach through enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, care, and excellence. Your work will include managing day-to-day correspondence, orchestrating impactful admissions events, and keeping applicant data current to support sound decision-making.

If you excel in dynamic, purpose-driven settings—where attention to detail, responsiveness, and organizational skill directly influence family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role provides both remote flexibility and consistent in-person participation at admissions activities.

What you will be doing

Manage the admissions inbox and deliver prompt, professional, and considerate responses to prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with meticulous precision

Take part in all admissions events—info sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings—whether on campus or online

Work directly with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day visits

Maintain current and accurate admissions records, systems, and follow-up schedules

What you will NOT be doing

  • Set admissions strategy or render final enrollment decisions
  • Function in an entirely administrative capacity without direct family engagement
  • Work within a slow-moving, heavily bureaucratic structure
  • Emphasize relationship development at the expense of execution and follow-through

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that a polished, high-converting admissions process fuels robust enrollment and family satisfaction throughout Alpha's campuses.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and precise
  • High attention to detail and prior experience managing applicant records or CRM data
  • Comfortable managing both remote responsibilities and in-person campus duties
  • Able to adapt swiftly and succeed in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment
  • Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in NYC; based in NY or willing to relocate

Nice to have

  • Experience in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Prior involvement in admissions events or high-touch onboarding workflows
  • Ease working in rapidly evolving, technology-driven settings
