IMPORTANT NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Austin, Texas campus.
Most schools focus on what students should think. This position focuses on teaching them how to execute.
Alpha is creating a new type of high school—one where students don't absorb lectures or memorize material. Instead, they build, ship, communicate, and evolve. They launch projects, validate ideas, and acquire real-world capabilities that most adults never attain. Your responsibility is ensuring they actually execute, and execute at a high level.
You will coach high school students directly as they launch businesses, manage projects, and cultivate the confidence, communication skills, and competence needed to thrive beyond the classroom. You are not here to deliver theory. You are here to coach execution. You will establish rigorous standards, maintain accountability, and challenge students to produce work that holds up in professional contexts. As the program scales, your impact expands; your workshops integrate into the school's core operations, and the students you develop become evidence of what this approach delivers.
This position is designed for people who have achieved something substantial outside traditional education—built a product, scaled an audience, operated within a startup, or delivered results in a demanding environment—and want to channel that expertise into developing the next generation. If you are seeking a conventional teaching position, this is not that. If you want to influence how driven teenagers think, operate, and perform, this is the opportunity.
If you have accomplished something tangible in your career and want to dedicate your time to guiding motivated teenagers toward their full potential, this is where it happens. Apply now
