You understand how to cultivate a relationship with someone whose net worth runs into the billions — and how to become the trusted guide in the most consequential educational choice they'll make for their child. That defines this role. If your default mode is to "manage funnels" or "process intake," you're not the right fit. If your default mode is to take complete ownership of relationships over the long term, this could be the most rewarding position of your career.
Founders School is a four-year high school where students launch real businesses with a goal of $1M in profit by the time they graduate. Annual tuition is $150K, backed by a guarantee: if the student doesn't reach $1M in profit, tuition is refunded in full. The inaugural New York City cohort begins in Fall 2026 with 20 students, and we are building toward 1,000. Our families rank among the most accomplished and discerning on the planet — many hold net worths in the hundreds of millions to billions. Each of those relationships requires a dedicated owner, from initial contact through enrollment and far beyond.
This role resembles investor relations at a premier fund more than traditional private school admissions. You will steward a portfolio of high-net-worth prospects, lead them through a rigorous engagement process, guide them to commitment, and then nurture those relationships over years so trust deepens: they re-enroll, enroll siblings, and refer peers.
Much like a fund, the calendar has two distinct phases: an intensive period focused on cultivating relationships with prospective families and advancing them toward commitment, and a stewardship period devoted to keeping enrolled families engaged, informed, and satisfied enough to renew their commitment and bring in others.
Within six months, you will own the complete prospective family pipeline for New York City — each family will have an established relationship with you, and school leadership will no longer bottleneck any relationship outside the top tier. The Fall 2027 cohort's families will have been personally guided from interest through enrollment, every enrolled family will receive proactive touchpoints on a defined cadence, and you will have created the initial framework and playbook for family engagement that does not currently exist.
At the twelve-month mark, the NYC enrollment process will operate as a system under your stewardship, not an improvisation — you will be able to describe the pipeline, conversion metrics, and the health of every family relationship at any moment. Enrolled families will be renewing their trust and generating referrals; retention and referral outcomes will be directly attributable to your work.
As the program scales toward 1,000 students across multiple cities, you will build and lead the enrollment team beneath you — recruiting, training, and defining the family experience at every campus. You are joining at the foundational stage of the function that will determine whether Founders School fills its seats with the right families.
