You understand how to cultivate a relationship with individuals whose net worth exceeds a billion dollars—and how to secure their confidence when they make the single most consequential decision regarding their child's future. That is the essence of this position. If your default approach is to "manage applications" or "optimize a conversion funnel," you should look elsewhere. If your default is to assume full ownership of relationships that span years, this could be the most fulfilling role of your career.
Founders School is a four-year secondary education program in which students launch genuine companies with the goal of achieving $1M in profit before they graduate. Annual tuition stands at $150K, backed by a guarantee: $1M in profit by graduation or full tuition reimbursement. The inaugural New York City cohort will enroll 20 students in Fall 2026, with plans to expand toward 1,000. Our families rank among the world's most accomplished and selective—many hold wealth ranging from hundreds of millions into the billions. Each of these relationships requires a singular owner, from the initial conversation through enrollment and well beyond.
The nature of this work more closely resembles investor relations at an elite fund than admissions at a traditional independent school. You will steward a portfolio of high-net-worth prospects, guide them through a rigorous decision-making journey, secure their commitment to a significant investment, and then sustain those relationships over years so that trust deepens: they re-enroll, enroll siblings, and introduce peers.
Much like a fund, the calendar follows two distinct phases: an active season during which you cultivate relationships with prospective families and advance them toward commitment, and a stewardship phase in which you keep enrolled families engaged, informed, and delighted enough to renew their trust and advocate for the school.
Within six months, you will own the complete prospective-family pipeline for NYC—each prospect maintains a genuine relationship with you, and school leadership is no longer the limiting factor for any relationship outside the top tier. The families comprising the Fall 2027 cohort will have been personally escorted from initial interest through enrollment, every enrolled family will receive a structured proactive engagement cadence, and you will have developed the initial version of the conversation framework and family-relationship playbook that does not yet exist.
At the twelve-month mark, the NYC enrollment process will operate through you as a system rather than an improvisation—you will be able to describe the pipeline, conversion metrics, and the health of every family relationship at any moment. Enrolled families will be renewing their trust and generating referrals; retention and advocacy will be measurably attributable to you.
As the program scales toward 1,000 students across multiple cities, you will recruit and lead the enrollment function beneath you—hiring, training, and defining the family experience across all campuses. You are joining at the foundational stage of the function that will determine whether Founders School attracts and enrolls the right families.
