Description

While most schools focus on filling enrollment slots, our flagship high school is focused on transforming what families consider achievable during the high school years and beyond.

This position offers the chance to represent the campus that demonstrates Alpha's vision for secondary education's future. Serving as the Director of Admissions for our flagship Austin High School, you will introduce driven students and their families to an educational model designed for remarkable results. You will also host media representatives, international visitors, business executives, investors, and education pioneers who visit to observe directly how Alpha challenges traditional high school conventions.

Alpha high school students complete their academic requirements in only three hours through adaptive technology, then spend the remainder of their day cultivating practical skills, starting ventures, pursuing internships, and building the self-sufficiency needed to succeed beyond graduation. As Alpha grows, our flagship campus establishes the benchmark for all subsequent schools. This position requires outstanding hospitality, executive-level presence, and consultative communication skills. You will support families navigating a critical educational choice while representing Alpha to prominent visitors worldwide. Each interaction, tour, and encounter should persuade people they have witnessed a fundamentally superior method for preparing students for what lies ahead.

If you find energy in working with high-performing families, excel in prominent settings, and wish to contribute to education's future, we want to speak with you.

What you will be doing

• Lead outstanding admissions experiences through customized tours, information sessions, and enrollment discussions that enable families to select Alpha with confidence.

• Function as the representative for Alpha's flagship campus, welcoming media, international delegations, business partners, investors, education authorities, and other notable guests.

• Establish trusted connections with prospective families, guiding motivated students and their parents in understanding how Alpha's approach equips graduates for superior college, career, and entrepreneurial achievement.

• Systematically enhance the flagship admissions experience by recognizing opportunities to strengthen every interaction point and develop best practices suitable for network-wide implementation.

• Collaborate closely with campus administration, marketing teams, and admissions staff to guarantee every visitor encounter embodies Alpha's dedication to excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

• Managing applications from behind a desk with limited personal interaction. This role demands high visibility and relationship development.

• Adhering to inflexible tour formats or transactional enrollment methods. Each family and visitor requires a considered, individualized experience.

• Devoting your time to administrative documentation rather than engaging prospective families and distinguished guests.

• Representing a single campus alone. Your contributions will help establish the admissions benchmark for Alpha's growing network.

Key responsibilities

Deliver exceptional admissions and visitor experiences that position Alpha's flagship campus as the benchmark for educational excellence, driving enrollment while demonstrating the future of learning to families and influential guests from across the globe.

Candidate requirements

• 5+ years providing premium, customized service in settings where service quality directly influences brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, premium membership, high-value services, or owner-operated businesses).

• Proven ownership of a complete admissions, enrollment, or consultative client process, spanning application, needs assessment, solution presentation, commitment, and onboarding.

• Proven ownership of enrollment expansion or comparable high-value customer-acquisition objectives, including proactive lead generation, local market or community partnership development, and quantifiable conversion or growth results.

• Experience overseeing multiple, simultaneous prospective clients or families across different pipeline stages using a CRM, database, or other documented tracking system.

• Capacity to supply specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your product or service when it did not suit the client.

• Experience delivering in-person tours, presentations, consultations, or hosted experiences for prospective families, senior executives, VIP clients, or other distinguished visitors.

• Experience creating professional written communications for executives, high-net-worth clients, or other senior stakeholders.

• Willingness to live in or relocate within 60 days to Austin, TX.

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience directing admissions, enrollment, guest experience, or customer success operations within a high-growth organization.

• Experience welcoming executive-level visitors, media, VIP clients, or managing public-facing events.

• Experience enhancing customer or visitor journeys through data analysis, feedback collection, and continuous improvement.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and admissions or customer relationship platforms.
