Description

While most schools focus on filling available seats, our flagship high school is redefining what families expect from secondary education and what becomes possible after graduation.

As the Director of Admissions for our flagship Austin High School, you will have the opportunity to represent the campus that demonstrates Alpha's vision for the future of education. You'll guide ambitious students and their families toward a learning model designed to produce extraordinary results. You'll also host media representatives, international visitors, business leaders, investors, and education innovators who visit to observe how Alpha is questioning the foundations of conventional high school.

At Alpha, high school students complete their academics in only three hours using adaptive technology, then invest the remainder of their day building practical skills, starting ventures, completing internships, and cultivating the independence necessary for post-graduation success. As Alpha grows, our flagship campus establishes the benchmark for every school that follows. This position requires outstanding hospitality, executive presence, and consultative communication skills. You'll support families through a critical educational decision while representing Alpha to prominent visitors from across the globe. Every interaction, every tour, and every experience should leave people persuaded they've witnessed a fundamentally superior method of preparing students for the future.

If you're motivated by connecting with high-achieving families, excel in prominent settings, and want to contribute to the future of education, we'd like to speak with you.

What you will be doing

• Lead exceptional admissions experiences through personalized tours, information sessions, and enrollment discussions that enable families to choose Alpha with confidence.

• Act as the flagship campus ambassador, welcoming media, international delegations, corporate partners, investors, education leaders, and other prominent visitors.

• Develop trusted relationships with prospective families, guiding ambitious students and their parents to understand how Alpha's model equips graduates for outstanding college, career, and entrepreneurial results.

• Continuously enhance the flagship admissions experience by recognizing opportunities to improve every interaction and establish best practices that can expand across the network.

• Collaborate closely with campus leadership, marketing, and admissions teams to ensure every visitor experience demonstrates Alpha's dedication to excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

• Processing applications from behind a desk with limited interaction. This is a prominent, relationship-focused role.

• Using rigid tour scripts or transactional enrollment procedures. Every family and every visitor requires a thoughtful, personalized experience.

• Spending your time on administrative paperwork rather than engaging with prospective families and prominent guests.

• Representing a single campus. Your work will help establish the admissions standard for Alpha's expanding network.

Key responsibilities

Design exceptional admissions and visitor experiences that position Alpha's flagship campus as the benchmark for educational excellence, driving enrollment while demonstrating the future of learning to families and influential visitors from across the world.

Candidate requirements

• 5+ years delivering premium, personalized service in environments where service quality directly impacts brand reputation (education, luxury hospitality, premium membership, high-value services, or owner-operated businesses).

• Demonstrated ownership of an end-to-end admissions, enrollment, or consultative client journey, including application, needs assessment, solution presentation, commitment, and onboarding.

• Demonstrated ownership of enrollment growth or an equivalent high-value customer-acquisition target, including proactive lead generation, local market or community partnership building, and measurable conversion or growth outcomes.

• Experience managing multiple, concurrent prospective clients or families through different stages of a pipeline using a CRM, database, or other documented tracking system.

• Ability to provide concrete examples of consultative decision-making, including recommending against your product or service when it was not the right fit.

• Experience conducting in-person tours, presentations, consultations, or hosted experiences for prospective families, senior executives, VIP clients, or other high-profile visitors.

• Experience producing professional written communications for executives, high-net-worth clients, or other senior stakeholders.

• Willingness to live in or relocate within 60 days to Austin, TX.

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience leading admissions, enrollment, guest experience, or customer success functions within a high-growth organization.

• Experience hosting executive-level visitors, media, VIP clients, or public-facing events.

• Experience improving customer or visitor journeys using data, feedback, and continuous improvement.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and admissions or customer relationship platforms.
