Inside Sales Representative   $100,000 USD/year

Description

It's possible to close deals without belief in the product. It's also possible to close without setting real expectations. This role is for people who reject both approaches. If your goal is to help families make a clear yes or no decision, establish transparent onboarding and ramp timelines, and leverage AI to elevate your communication standards, continue reading.

Alpha Anywhere delivers mastery-based, accelerated learning in a home environment. Students achieve roughly 2x learning speed in approximately 2 focused hours per day, with progress tracked via benchmarks and standardized testing. Families select us for outcomes and transparency, not ambiguous commitments. Your responsibility is to transform qualified prospects into enrolled families and ensure their opening weeks are smooth, confident, and active.

This is not a limited, script-dependent SDR position. You will manage the complete conversion journey from consultative exploration through closing to initial activation. You will also contribute to developing the playbooks the team follows, including AI-powered workflows that enhance both quality and velocity without reducing messages to templated content.

If you value disciplined pipelines, precise expectation management, and ethical sales that earn customer appreciation over time, we want to speak with you.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations that assess compatibility, address objections, and produce a definitive enroll-or-disqualify decision
  • Manage your CRM pipeline with proactive follow-through, rapid responses to incoming inquiries, and documented next steps in every interaction
  • Establish precise onboarding and ramp expectations prior to closing, then support new enrollments through initial steps to confirm active participation
  • Apply AI tools to prepare for conversations, customize outreach, and boost throughput while preserving context and precision
  • Create and distribute straightforward sales playbooks informed by actual win/loss data and performance metrics so the team achieves more consistent conversions

What you will NOT be doing

  • Sending high-volume generic sequences or relying on scripts that avoid substantive questions
  • Finalizing deals without validating fit or without transparently describing what onboarding and early ramp entail
  • Transferring a new enrollment and assuming someone else will address early confusion or churn warning signs
  • Operating in a low-accountability environment where you lack the ability to refine the process or influence how the team sells

Key responsibilities

This role ensures that qualified prospects reliably convert into enrolled families who launch successfully, comprehend the onboarding path, and participate early.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven capability to facilitate consultative sales discussions that establish transparent expectations and produce a clear yes/no decision
  • Documented ownership of a pipeline or workflow with no missed follow-ups and rigorous CRM discipline
  • Excellent written and spoken communication that remains personalized, precise, and contextually relevant
  • Practical application of AI tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of sales delivery (not merely to produce generic content)
  • Capacity to work autonomously in a rapidly evolving, uncertain environment while delivering quantifiable results
  • Availability for a remote, full-time position, operating mainly during US Central Time Zone business hours (some flexibility permitted)

Nice to have

  • Background selling education, tutoring, homeschool, or subscription offerings with a complex, high-consideration buyer process
  • History of creating simple sales playbooks or workflows that are actively used by other sales professionals
  • Confidence working with data to identify conversion trends across phases (discovery, follow-up, close, early activation)
