Description

Step into a role where your leadership drives the launch, and your vision shapes the future. If you're ready to take the reins and steer a major expansion from the ground up, this is your moment.

At 2 Hour Learning, we're in the midst of rapid growth, with plans to open 25–30 new campuses in just half a year. This involves everything from securing buildings to managing budgets and navigating regulatory approvals, all within tight deadlines. We're on the hunt for senior leaders to take charge of key areas: approvals, onboarding, or finance. This is your domain to command—no red tape, no handoffs, just pure ownership and the opportunity to design and execute from scratch.

We're not seeking advisors; we're looking for former consultants from top firms who are ready to transition from advising to executing. This role is tailor-made for those who excel in ambiguity but demand a clear mission—those who can transform a blank slate into a strategic plan and drive it to fruition.

2 Hour Learning supports innovative K–12 schools like Alpha and GT School, built on the revolutionary idea that students can master a year's curriculum in just two hours a day. The rest of the day is dedicated to passions, projects, and life experiences. Our schools leverage real-time dashboards, adaptive curricula, and expert guides to provide a balanced environment for growth.

Backed by private equity, we have the funding and the mandate to scale aggressively. The model is proven; now it's time to build the infrastructure at lightning speed.

If you're ready to transition from theory to practice, from planning to profit, and from hesitation to determination, we want you on our team.

What you will be doing

  • Taking full ownership of a critical domain within the national launch strategy: be it regulatory approvals, onboarding systems, or financial operations.
  • Leading cross-functional teams with complete decision-making authority and accountability.
  • Developing new operational playbooks and rigorously testing them on the go.
  • Working closely with founders, department heads, and campus teams to establish ready-to-launch infrastructure.
  • Leveraging AI and automation tools to optimize operations and speed up execution.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Acting as an advisor—this role demands hands-on leadership, not just strategic input.
  • Navigating through bureaucratic layers—you'll have direct access to decision-makers.
  • Focusing on a single market or workstream—your leadership will span multiple geographies and initiatives.
  • Waiting for direction—it's up to you to provide it.
  • Passing off challenging decisions—they're yours to handle.

Key responsibilities

Take charge of a core operational pillar in the national school launch for 2HL, ensuring swift, seamless, and scalable implementation. You'll be matched with the pillar that best suits your expertise, and from there, it's yours to lead.

Candidate requirements

We're seeking candidates for various operational verticals, all of which require rapid execution, clear thinking, and intense focus.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years at a leading strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG).
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional operations in high-pressure, uncertain environments.
  • Expertise in one or more areas: regulatory compliance, onboarding systems, or large-scale financial operations.
  • Structured, proactive mindset with a strong inclination towards execution—able to move from planning to action independently.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and willingness to travel approximately one week per month.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and speed up project delivery.
