Description

While others manage buildings, you'll architect the gold standard of campus excellence.

This position calls for a visionary operator who walks into any space and instantly sees the complete transformation: premium furnishings that embody our identity, welcoming signage that resonates with families, reliable infrastructure that performs flawlessly, and those crucial hospitality touches that reassure discerning parents they've made the perfect educational choice. You'll master the critical final phase of campus development: converting raw physical spaces into extraordinary, fully-operational 2 Hour Learning environments.

Forget about following predetermined protocols. You'll architect the monitoring systems, tracking mechanisms, and sourcing processes that establish excellence benchmarks across our 25+ campus network. Whether orchestrating major facility enhancements or resolving urgent technical issues, your frameworks will establish and maintain unwavering quality standards. This isn't your typical slow-paced facilities position. You'll be coordinating simultaneous launches, managing vendor complexities, and adapting to evolving priorities while maintaining seamless operations.

If you've ever entered a facility thinking, "This could be extraordinary" — and then made it happen — we need you.

What you will be doing

  • Execute flawless campus launches that are inspection-ready, team-prepared, and brand-aligned — zero last-second rushes, zero oversights, zero compromises.
  • Develop and oversee intelligent monitoring systems and preparation protocols covering aesthetics, furnishings, wayfinding, technology infrastructure, and operational frameworks.
  • Orchestrate complex multi-location improvement initiatives — coordinating contractor proposals, financial planning, and project schedules while preserving educational continuity.
  • Establish and enforce comprehensive quality benchmarks spanning guest services fundamentals to climate control — ensuring every location delivers a premium, unified experience.
  • Execute proactive maintenance strategies and rapid problem resolution across our 25+ school network leveraging connected device data, intelligent automation, and defined performance metrics.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Operating facilities through outdated spreadsheets — your systems are dynamic, intelligence-driven, and synchronized across all locations.
  • Depending on others to establish readiness criteria — you create the benchmarks and guarantee their implementation from opening day, down to every detail.
  • Settling for mediocrity when serving affluent families or prominent executives — every location must create lasting impressions from arrival.
  • Handling single initiatives sequentially — you'll coordinate launches, improvements, and maintenance operations simultaneously nationwide.
  • Shying away from complexity — this is an innovation role, not a maintenance position.

Key responsibilities

Elevate newly constructed facilities into fully-functional, luxury-caliber educational institutions — through developing and implementing comprehensive systems that guarantee every environment is operationally ready, brand-consistent, and performing optimally.

Candidate requirements

  • U.S.-based with full work authorization (no visa sponsorship required)
  • Comfortable with 50–75% domestic travel to campus locations
  • 5+ years in operations, facility management, or project coordination, including multi-location launch or improvement experience
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects punctually, within budget, and meeting specifications in dynamic or uncertain conditions
  • Regular utilization of artificial intelligence platforms and automation tools (such as GPT, Airtable, Retool, Zapier) for project coordination or vendor management
  • Rapid execution capabilities — takes ownership of outcomes and completes initiatives independently
  • Forward-thinking approach — anticipates challenges before they emerge and maintains strict oversight of contractors and deadlines

Nice to have

  • Background in premium hospitality, upscale retail, or exclusive membership organizations
  • New York City location or flexibility for regular NYC flagship visits
  • Understanding of capital expenditure and construction management processes (beneficial but not essential)
  • Refined design sensibility for client-facing spaces and décor selection
  • Track record developing unified purchasing and procurement frameworks
