Commercial Real Estate Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

If you're the kind of person who prevents chaos from derailing timelines, ensures stakeholders are informed proactively, and finds satisfaction in being the reason operations run smoothly, this opportunity is worth your attention.

This position is responsible for the real estate process following the LOI: coordinating everything from critical document collection to inspection logistics, landlord communications, internal team coordination, and executive site visits. You're not here to document meetings. You're here to ensure nothing falls through the cracks, nothing stalls, and every team has the resources required to convert an unfinished space into a fully functioning school — without delays.

You will be part of 2 Hour Learning, a rapidly expanding education organization operating on a transformative premise: children absorb more knowledge in two concentrated hours than during a conventional eight-hour school day. As we establish schools nationwide, you'll serve as the operational backbone behind each opening — allowing the real estate function to concentrate on growth while you deliver flawless execution.

If you have the ability to transform disorder into seamless coordination, we'd like to speak with you.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing post-LOI landlord interactions: collecting documents, scheduling inspections, establishing access procedures, and conducting follow-ups — with complete accountability and no overlooked details.
  • Directing internal requests to Operations, Treasury, and Legal teams — making certain each group receives precisely what they require to proceed without interruption.
  • Maintaining live document tracking, file organization, and deal progress records — providing every stakeholder with access to a unified, up-to-date information source.
  • Organizing executive site visit logistics: synchronizing flights, ground transportation, schedules, and site preparation to optimize the value of each visit.
  • Executing internal real estate events and school opening logistics — confirming that venues, entry protocols, materials, and participants are secured and prepared in advance.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Requesting status updates — you'll control the tracking system and establish transparency immediately.
  • Waiting for direction on next steps — this position requires proactive individuals who anticipate needs and stay ahead of the workflow.
  • Developing presentation materials or shaping real estate strategy — your responsibility is operational execution, not proposal creation or deal structuring.
  • Overseeing lengthy closing procedures — your scope covers everything following the LOI, not what precedes it.
  • Hand-holding stakeholders — you'll possess the interpersonal intelligence to navigate friction, assert boundaries appropriately, and maintain alignment without requiring escalation.

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that all operational, legal, and logistical requirements from LOI through lease execution are fulfilled promptly, correctly, and without the need for rework, facilitating swift property integration and school launches.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing complex, multi-phase logistics in high-velocity environments
  • Working knowledge of commercial real estate documentation including LOIs, redlines, COIs, or lease provisions
  • Demonstrated capability to sustain organized digital filing systems with logical structure and version management
  • Excellent written communication abilities — particularly for professional follow-up correspondence and stakeholder communications
  • Documented ownership of cross-departmental initiatives involving numerous stakeholders and outputs
  • Track record of automating or standardizing repetitive processes using fundamental tools or systems
  • Skilled with platforms such as Google Drive, collaborative trackers, scheduling tools, and messaging applications
  • Available to travel up to 50% when required
  • Based in the U.S. and authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship
