Real Estate Operations Specialist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

If you excel at eliminating operational friction, ensuring stakeholders stay aligned without intervention, and take ownership of outcomes rather than tasks, this opportunity is worth your attention.

This position is responsible for the entire post-LOI real estate workflow: coordinating document execution, landlord logistics, inspection schedules, internal team handoffs, and executive site visits. You won't be observing from the sidelines. Your mandate is to ensure zero delays, zero dropped deliverables, and complete visibility across every stakeholder — enabling seamless conversion of vacant properties into operational schools on schedule.

You will be part of 2 Hour Learning, an education company scaling rapidly on a distinctive premise: students achieve more in two focused hours than in a conventional eight-hour day. As we expand school sites nationwide, you will serve as the operational backbone of every launch — freeing the real estate team to concentrate on growth while you execute flawlessly through the finish line.

If you can transform disorder into operational clarity, we're interested in speaking with you.

What you will be doing

  • Coordinating post-LOI landlord activities: document retrieval, scheduling inspections, establishing access protocols, and conducting follow-ups — ensuring zero lost communications.
  • Channeling internal requests among Operations, Treasury, and Legal teams — delivering precisely what each function requires to proceed without bottlenecks.
  • Maintaining live document repositories, organized file structures, and deal progress visibility — guaranteeing all parties reference a unified, up-to-date source of truth.
  • Arranging executive site visit logistics: synchronizing flights, ground transportation, agendas, and site preparation to optimize every visit's impact.
  • Organizing internal real estate events and school opening activities — confirming venues, access, materials, and participant readiness are secured and execution-ready.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Requesting status updates from others — you will control the tracker and establish clarity proactively.
  • Waiting for direction — this position demands self-starters who anticipate needs and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Designing presentations or shaping real estate strategy — your domain is operational execution, not deal structuring or negotiation materials.
  • Overseeing extended closing timelines — your scope begins after the LOI is signed, not before.
  • Hand-holding stakeholders — you'll possess the emotional intelligence to navigate conflict, assert boundaries when appropriate, and maintain alignment without requiring escalation.

Key responsibilities

Guarantee the seamless completion of all operational, legal, and logistical requirements between LOI execution and lease finalization — delivered swiftly, accurately, and without revision — to support accelerated property onboarding and school launch timelines.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years coordinating multi-phase logistics in high-velocity environments
  • Working knowledge of commercial real estate documentation including LOIs, redlines, COIs, or lease provisions
  • Demonstrated capability to establish and maintain structured digital filing systems with clear taxonomy and version control
  • Excellent written communication skills — particularly for professional follow-up correspondence and stakeholder briefings
  • Track record of owning cross-functional initiatives involving multiple parties and interdependent deliverables
  • Experience streamlining or automating repetitive workflows using standard tools or processes
  • Comfortable using platforms such as Google Drive, collaborative trackers, scheduling tools, and messaging applications
  • Available to travel up to 50% as required
  • Based in the U.S. and authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship
