Property Operations Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

If you're someone who brings order to complexity, keeps stakeholders aligned without prompting, and derives satisfaction from being the reason operations run smoothly, this opportunity is for you.

This position controls the entire post-LOI real estate workflow: from shepherding essential documents to completion through managing inspections, landlord communications, internal transitions, and executive site visits. Your role isn't administrative support. Your role is ensuring nothing falls through the cracks, no timeline slips, and every team has exactly what they need to transform an empty property into a fully functioning school — on schedule.

You'll become part of 2 Hour Learning, a rapidly expanding education company founded on a powerful premise: students achieve more learning in two concentrated hours than in a conventional eight-hour school day. As we launch schools nationwide, you'll serve as the operational backbone of every opening — allowing the real estate team to pursue growth while you execute flawlessly through completion.

If you excel at converting disorder into seamless coordination, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing post-LOI landlord engagement: gathering documents, arranging inspections, establishing access procedures, and maintaining follow-through — with complete continuity.
  • Directing internal requests through Ops, Treasury, and Legal — guaranteeing teams receive precisely what they require to proceed without interruption.
  • Maintaining live document tracking, file organization, and deal progress — providing all stakeholders with a unified, up-to-date information source.
  • Organizing executive site visit logistics: synchronizing flights, transportation, schedules, and site preparation to optimize every visit's value.
  • Executing internal real estate events and school openings — confirming venues, access, resources, and participants are secured and prepared.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Requesting status updates — you'll control the system and establish clarity from the outset.
  • Waiting for instruction on next steps — this position requires proactive individuals who anticipate several moves ahead.
  • Building presentation decks or shaping real estate strategy — your domain is execution, not marketing materials or deal structuring.
  • Overseeing lengthy closing procedures — your scope covers everything following the LOI, not preceding it.
  • Hand-holding stakeholders — you'll possess the emotional intelligence to navigate friction, assert boundaries when appropriate, and maintain alignment without requiring escalation.

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that all operational, legal, and logistical tasks spanning the period between LOI and lease execution are delivered swiftly, precisely, and without requiring revision, facilitating accelerated property onboarding and school launches.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years of experience coordinating complex, multi-step logistics in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate documents such as LOIs, redlines, COIs, or lease terms
  • Proven ability to maintain well-organized digital file systems with clear structure and version control
  • Strong written communication skills — especially for professional follow-ups and stakeholder updates
  • Demonstrated ownership of cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and deliverables
  • History of automating or systematizing recurring tasks using basic tools or workflows
  • Proficient with tools like Google Drive, shared trackers, calendars, and messaging platforms
  • Willing to travel up to 50% as needed
  • Located in the U.S. and eligible to work without visa sponsorship
