Description

You are an operator who plans meticulously, monitors constantly, and finds real fulfillment in flawless execution. This position is designed for someone who approaches procurement and logistics with the rigor of a mission countdown—because each new campus launch demands exactly that level of precision.

You will hold full accountability for procurement and logistics across all new 2 Hour Learning school openings. Your responsibility is straightforward and absolute: every campus must be fully equipped, compliant, and ready to operate from Day 1. Furniture, equipment, and instructional materials must be delivered on schedule, complete, and installation-ready. No last-minute fixes. No shortcuts. You will oversee sourcing, purchasing, warehousing coordination, and third-party logistics while designing systems that guarantee consistent, repeatable outcomes.

2 Hour Learning is a rapidly growing, AI-first education organization launching campuses on accelerated schedules. We operate with urgency, track performance rigorously, and replace ad hoc processes with automation and documented procedures. This is neither a maintenance position nor a passive coordination assignment. You will deliver tangible, measurable gains in cost efficiency, delivery speed, and operational reliability with every launch. If you value precision delivery and holding suppliers accountable to exacting standards, this role is your match.

If you are ready to lead a mission-critical function where your execution determines whether schools open on time, submit your application.

What you will be doing

  • Lead complete procurement cycles for FF&E and educational supplies, spanning vendor evaluation and competitive bidding through purchase order execution and invoice verification
  • Manage warehousing, staging, kitting, and pick-pack operations with 3PL providers to align with campus launch schedules
  • Monitor shipments on a daily basis, address issues immediately, and confirm receipt, quality, and completeness prior to installation
  • Design and document repeatable workflows, standard operating procedures, and tooling that eliminate errors, compress lead times, and reduce launch costs
  • Provide delivery updates, risk assessments, and improvement recommendations to cross-functional launch teams and senior leadership

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working within unstructured, reactive procurement environments that result in last-minute supply gaps
  • Overseeing ongoing facilities maintenance or construction trades unrelated to supply chain execution
  • Spending hours in unproductive meetings rather than driving clear, results-oriented coordination
  • Functioning as an order processor—we require proactive system-building, not transactional responses

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that every new campus opens fully equipped, operationally prepared, and on time through precise, scalable procurement and logistics management.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years managing procurement and logistics for multi-location rollouts or high-stakes, deadline-driven projects
  • Demonstrated ownership of FF&E sourcing, vendor negotiations, purchase order management, and invoicing workflows
  • Direct experience managing 3PLs, warehousing operations, staging processes, and final-mile delivery
  • Track record of creating documented workflows, runbooks, or standard operating procedures that measurably reduced errors or cycle times
  • Robust project management capabilities with proven ability to juggle multiple concurrent priorities
  • Expert-level Excel proficiency and familiarity with procurement, ERP, or inventory management platforms
  • Capacity to meet rigid deadlines and escalate proactively to eliminate obstacles
  • Based in the US and authorized to work without visa sponsorship
  • Available to travel 10-25% for warehouse and campus site visits

Nice to have

  • Background in K–12 education operations, retail expansion, or facilities-intensive sectors
  • Direct experience deploying automation or AI-driven tracking solutions
  • Track record scaling procurement infrastructure across geographic regions
  • Familiarity with international vendor management or import logistics
