Description

You are the type of operator who eliminates uncertainty. You plan with precision, monitor without pause, and take real pride when deliveries land exactly on schedule. This position is designed for someone who approaches procurement and logistics with the rigor of a countdown clock—because each new campus launch demands exactly that.

You will manage complete procurement and logistics operations for new 2 Hour Learning school openings. Your mission is straightforward and absolute: ensure every campus is fully equipped, compliant, and ready to operate on Day 1. Furniture, technology, and materials must arrive punctually, complete, and installation-ready. No last-minute fixes. No exceptions. You will oversee sourcing, purchasing, warehouse coordination, and third-party logistics while creating systems that guarantee reliable, repeatable outcomes.

2 Hour Learning is a rapidly expanding, AI-driven education organization launching campuses under tight timelines. We execute with speed, track results rigorously, and eliminate inefficiency through automation and documented procedures. This is not a support role or passive administrative function. You will deliver tangible, quantifiable gains in cost efficiency, speed, and delivery reliability with every launch. If you find fulfillment in perfect execution and accountability from suppliers, this role is purpose-built for you.

If you are ready to take ownership of a high-stakes function where operational excellence determines whether schools open as planned, submit your application.

What you will be doing

  • Manage complete procurement cycles for FF&E and educational supplies, from vendor evaluation and bidding through purchase order issuance and invoice verification
  • Orchestrate warehousing, staging, kitting, and fulfillment workflows with 3PL providers aligned to launch schedules
  • Monitor shipments in real time, address disruptions immediately, and confirm delivery accuracy, quality, and completeness prior to installation
  • Design and document repeatable processes, operational guides, and systems that minimize errors, accelerate timelines, and reduce launch costs
  • Communicate delivery progress, risk factors, and performance insights to cross-functional launch teams and executive leadership

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working within ad hoc, unstructured purchasing environments that lead to supply failures
  • Overseeing general facility upkeep or construction contractor management unrelated to supply chain execution
  • Attending unproductive meetings instead of executing clear, results-driven coordination
  • Functioning as an order processor—we require proactive system builders, not reactive responders

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that every new campus launches fully stocked, operationally prepared, and on time through precise, scalable procurement and logistics execution.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years managing procurement and logistics for multi-location rollouts or deadline-driven, complex initiatives
  • Demonstrated ownership of FF&E sourcing, competitive bidding, purchase order management, and invoice reconciliation
  • Direct experience managing 3PL relationships, warehouse operations, staging logistics, and final-mile delivery
  • Track record of developing documented processes, standard operating procedures, or runbooks that eliminated delays or mistakes
  • Excellent project management capabilities with confidence juggling multiple concurrent priorities
  • Proficient Excel user with familiarity in procurement platforms, ERP tools, or inventory management systems
  • Capacity to meet firm deadlines and escalate issues decisively to resolve obstacles
  • Based in the US and authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Available to travel 10-25% for warehouse inspections and campus site visits

Nice to have

  • Background in K–12 education operations, retail expansion, or facility-intensive settings
  • Practical experience deploying automation or AI-powered logistics tracking solutions
  • History of expanding procurement infrastructure across multiple geographic regions
  • Familiarity with international sourcing or cross-border import logistics
