Description

You are the type of operator who despises the unexpected. You plan with precision, monitor without fail, and derive real satisfaction from on-time, on-spec deliveries. This position is designed for someone who approaches procurement and logistics with the discipline of a mission countdown—because each new campus launch is exactly that.

You will manage procurement and logistics operations end-to-end for new 2 Hour Learning school openings. Your mission is straightforward and uncompromising: ensure every campus is fully equipped, compliant, and ready to operate on Day 1. Furniture, equipment, and materials must be delivered on schedule, complete, and ready for installation. No last-minute fixes. No shortcuts. You will oversee sourcing, purchasing, warehousing coordination, and third-party logistics while designing systems that make consistent execution the standard.

2 Hour Learning is a rapidly growing, AI-first education operator launching new campuses on tight schedules. We operate at speed, focus on measurable results, and replace improvised processes with automation and documented procedures. This is not a steady-state role or a passive scheduling function. You will deliver measurable gains in cost efficiency, lead time, and reliability with every launch. If you thrive on operational excellence and vendor accountability, this role is your opportunity.

If you seek ownership of a critical function where your execution determines whether schools open on time, submit your application.

What you will be doing

  • Lead full-cycle procurement for FF&E and school materials, including vendor qualification, bid management, purchase order execution, and invoice reconciliation
  • Manage warehousing, staging, kitting, and pick-pack operations with 3PL partners to align with launch schedules
  • Monitor shipments in real time, resolve delivery issues quickly, and confirm receipt, condition, and completeness prior to installation
  • Develop and maintain scalable workflows, standard operating procedures, and tools that minimize errors, accelerate timelines, and reduce launch costs
  • Communicate delivery status, risks, and process improvements to cross-functional launch teams and senior leadership

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working within ad hoc, reactive purchasing environments that lead to last-minute supply gaps
  • Overseeing routine facilities maintenance or construction contractor work outside of supply chain scope
  • Spending time in prolonged, low-impact meetings rather than driving focused, results-driven coordination
  • Functioning as a transactional administrator—we require proactive system-building, not isolated workarounds

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that every new campus opens fully equipped, operationally prepared, and on time through reliable, scalable procurement and logistics execution.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years managing procurement and logistics for multi-site rollouts or complex, deadline-driven projects
  • Demonstrated ownership of FF&E sourcing, vendor bid processes, purchase order management, and invoice workflows
  • Direct experience managing 3PL coordination, warehousing operations, staging, and final-mile delivery
  • Track record of creating documented workflows, runbooks, or standard operating procedures that improved accuracy or speed
  • Solid project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Proficient Excel skills and working knowledge of procurement, ERP, or inventory management platforms
  • Capacity to meet firm deadlines and escalate proactively to resolve obstacles
  • Based in the US and authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Open to travel 10-25% for warehouse and campus site visits

Nice to have

  • Background in K–12 education, operational support, retail expansion, or facility-intensive sectors
  • Direct experience deploying automation or AI-enabled tracking solutions
  • Background scaling procurement operations across multiple geographic areas
  • Familiarity with international vendor networks or import logistics processes
