Description

You are the type of operator who eliminates uncertainty. You plan with precision, monitor continuously, and derive real satisfaction from flawless execution when every item arrives exactly as scheduled. This position is designed for someone who approaches procurement and logistics with the discipline of a launch protocol—because that is exactly what each new campus opening represents.

You will take full ownership of procurement and logistics operations for new 2 Hour Learning school launches. Your objective is clear and demanding: ensure every campus opens fully equipped, compliant, and ready to operate from Day 1. Furniture, equipment, and supplies must arrive on schedule, complete, and installation-ready. No last-minute scrambling. No compromises. You will manage sourcing, purchasing, warehousing coordination, and third-party logistics while developing systems that guarantee repeatable, reliable execution.

2 Hour Learning is a rapidly expanding, AI-native education operator launching new campuses on demanding schedules. We operate with speed, measure performance rigorously, and replace ad hoc processes with automation and documented procedures. This is neither a maintenance position nor a passive facilitation role. You will deliver measurable, visible enhancements to cost efficiency, speed, and reliability across every launch cycle. If you take ownership of flawless delivery and hold vendors accountable to rigorous standards, this role is designed for you.

If you are ready to own a mission-critical operation where your execution directly determines whether schools open on time, we invite your application.

What you will be doing

  • Take full ownership of end-to-end procurement for FF&E and school supplies, including vendor qualification, bid management, purchase order creation, and invoice reconciliation
  • Coordinate with 3PL partners on warehousing, staging, kitting, and pick-pack operations to align with launch schedules
  • Monitor shipments on a daily basis, quickly resolve exceptions, and confirm receipt, condition, and completeness prior to installation
  • Develop and document scalable workflows, runbooks, and systems that minimize errors, reduce lead times, and decrease cost per launch
  • Provide delivery status updates, risk assessments, and improvement recommendations to cross-functional launch teams and senior leadership

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working within undocumented, reactive purchasing environments that generate last-minute supply shortages
  • Overseeing general facilities maintenance or construction trade work unrelated to supply chain delivery
  • Spending time in endless, low-impact meetings rather than driving clear, outcome-focused coordination
  • Functioning as a paper pusher—we require proactive system-building, not one-off workarounds

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that every new campus opens fully supplied, operationally prepared, and on schedule through flawless, repeatable procurement and logistics execution.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading procurement and logistics for multi-site launches or complex, deadline-driven projects
  • Proven track record owning FF&E sourcing, vendor bid processes, purchase order execution, and invoice management
  • Practical experience coordinating third-party logistics providers, warehousing, staging, and last-mile delivery operations
  • Demonstrated success creating documented workflows, runbooks, or standard operating procedures that reduced errors or delays
  • Strong project management capabilities with comfort managing multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using procurement, ERP, or inventory management systems
  • Capability to meet strict deadlines and escalate decisively to eliminate obstacles
  • Based in the United States and authorized to work without visa sponsorship
  • Willingness to travel 10-25% for warehouse and campus site visits

Nice to have

  • Background in K–12 education operations, retail rollouts, or facilities-intensive environments
  • Practical experience deploying automation or AI-powered tracking tools
  • Experience scaling procurement operations across multiple regions
  • Familiarity with international suppliers or import logistics operations
