Description

You are not interested in managing helpdesk tickets. You want ownership of the infrastructure that keeps an organization operational. If you have managed endpoint fleets, controlled SaaS access, and handled procurement under real deadlines, this position will represent a step forward. If you prefer low-tempo IT environments where nothing evolves and launch timelines belong to others, this will not be the right match.

2 Hour Learning is expanding a new approach to K-12 education powered by AI-driven personalized instruction. As campuses open on a consistent schedule, the line between "prepared" and "unprepared" often comes down to fundamental operational execution: the correct devices, provisioned and enrolled; the correct SaaS licenses, active and allocated; the correct communication tools, configured and validated.

In this position, you will oversee device procurement from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo; manage MDM (mobile device management) and provisioning workflows; oversee SaaS account and renewal management across 14+ platforms; and implement the campus technology onboarding playbook (including Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms). You will document proven processes, refine the SOPs, and leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks.

What you will be doing

  • Manage complete device procurement workflows across Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo, monitoring lead times and delivery schedules to ensure campuses receive equipment before launch dates
  • Provision, image, enroll, and manage the full lifecycle of student and staff devices via an MDM platform, maintaining accurate asset records across all campuses
  • Oversee SaaS accounts, user permissions, and licensing across 14+ platforms, proactively tracking utilization limits and renewal timelines to avoid service interruptions
  • Implement the new-campus technology onboarding playbook, staging equipment, provisioning systems, and setting up Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms prior to day one
  • Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and launch checklists, refining them with each campus onboarding and automating recurring steps using AI tools

What you will NOT be doing

  • Functioning as a queue-driven helpdesk technician whose performance is evaluated by ticket counts
  • Developing long-term IT architecture or engaging in strategic discussions while launch deadlines are missed
  • Managing unplanned purchasing without inventory tracking, vendor management, or documented specifications
  • Relying on others to create documentation (you will ensure launches are repeatable, not reliant on institutional knowledge)

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that every campus opens and operates on time because devices, SaaS access, and launch technology infrastructure are completely provisioned and operational before day one.

Candidate requirements

  • Currently located in the United States and authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Willing and able to travel periodically to US campuses
  • Experience administering an MDM (mobile device management) platform such as ManageEngine, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting end-user devices (laptops or tablets), including provisioning/imaging and troubleshooting
  • Experience administering SaaS platforms, including account provisioning, permissions management, and license management
  • Experience coordinating hardware procurement and delivery logistics and/or running asset tracking workflows
  • Evidence of creating or maintaining operational documentation such as SOPs, runbooks, or playbooks
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to troubleshoot technical problems or automate repetitive operational workflows

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting a distributed, multi-site environment where inventory, spares, and repairs must be managed across locations
  • Strong track record of building simple automations that reduce manual provisioning and reporting work
  • Experience configuring or administering communication tools such as Google Voice, Zoom Phone, or Zoom Rooms
