Endpoint Management Specialist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You are not interested in managing support tickets. You want to control the infrastructure that keeps an organization operational. If you have managed endpoint fleets, SaaS platforms, and procurement under real time pressure, this position represents meaningful advancement. If you favor slow-moving IT environments where nothing evolves and deadlines belong to others, this is not the right fit.

2 Hour Learning is expanding a new K-12 model driven by AI-powered personalized learning. As campuses open according to a consistent schedule, the distinction between "prepared" and "unprepared" often comes down to fundamental operational delivery: the correct devices, provisioned and enrolled; the correct SaaS licenses, activated and allocated; the correct communication tools, configured and verified.

In this position, you will manage device purchasing across Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo; oversee MDM (mobile device management) and provisioning processes; handle SaaS account management and renewals spanning 14+ platforms; and implement the campus technology launch playbook (covering Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms). You will record what succeeds, refine the SOPs, and apply AI tools to automate recurring tasks.

If you seek direct ownership, quantifiable results, and the momentum of an expanding school network, we want to speak with you.

What you will be doing

  • Manage complete device procurement cycles across Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo, monitoring lead times and shipment schedules to ensure campuses receive equipment prior to launch deadlines
  • Provision, image, enroll, and manage the full lifecycle of student and staff devices via an MDM platform, maintaining precise asset documentation across all campuses
  • Oversee SaaS accounts, permissions, and licensing across 14+ platforms, anticipating utilization thresholds and renewal schedules to avoid access interruptions
  • Implement the new-campus technology launch playbook, preparing devices, provisioning systems, and setting up Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms in advance of opening day
  • Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and launch checklists, refining them with each campus deployment and automating routine processes using AI tools

What you will NOT be doing

  • Operating as a queue-driven helpdesk technician whose performance is evaluated by ticket counts
  • Developing long-term IT architecture or engaging in strategy discussions while launch dates are missed
  • Executing unstructured purchasing without inventory tracking, vendor management, or specification documentation
  • Relying on others to create process documentation (you will ensure launches are repeatable, not reliant on institutional knowledge)

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that every campus launches and functions on time because devices, SaaS access, and launch technology infrastructure are completely provisioned and operational before the first day.

Candidate requirements

  • Currently based in the United States and authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Willing and able to travel periodically to US campuses
  • Experience managing an MDM (mobile device management) platform such as ManageEngine, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, or equivalent
  • Direct experience deploying and supporting end-user devices (laptops or tablets), including provisioning/imaging and troubleshooting
  • Experience managing SaaS platforms, including account provisioning, permissions management, and license management
  • Experience managing hardware procurement and delivery logistics and/or operating asset tracking workflows
  • Evidence of developing or maintaining operational documentation such as SOPs, runbooks, or playbooks
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to troubleshoot technical problems or automate repetitive operational workflows

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting a distributed, multi-site environment where inventory, spare parts, and repairs require coordination across locations
  • Proven ability to build straightforward automations that minimize manual provisioning and reporting tasks
  • Experience setting up or managing communication tools such as Google Voice, Zoom Phone, or Zoom Rooms
