Description

You are not interested in managing tickets all day. You want full ownership of the infrastructure that keeps an organization functioning. If you have managed endpoint fleets, SaaS platforms, and procurement workflows under real deadlines, this role represents a meaningful advancement. If you prefer a slow-moving IT environment where nothing ever changes and launch timelines are handled by others, this position will not be a good match.

2 Hour Learning is expanding a new approach to K-12 education powered by AI-driven personalized learning. As new campuses open on a consistent schedule, the gap between "operational" and "delayed" often comes down to core execution: the correct hardware, provisioned and enrolled; the proper SaaS licenses, activated and distributed; the essential communication tools, configured and validated.

In this position, you will oversee device procurement from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo; manage MDM (mobile device management) and provisioning systems; handle SaaS account administration and renewals across 14+ platforms; and deliver the campus technology onboarding playbook (including Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms). You will record proven processes, refine the SOPs, and leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks.

What you will be doing

  • Manage complete device procurement workflows across Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo, monitoring lead times and shipments to ensure campuses receive equipment before launch deadlines
  • Provision, image, enroll, and manage the lifecycle of student and staff devices via an MDM platform, maintaining precise asset records across all campuses
  • Oversee SaaS account administration, permissions, and licensing across 14+ platforms, monitoring utilization thresholds and renewal schedules to avoid service interruptions
  • Deliver the new-campus technology onboarding playbook, preparing devices, provisioning platforms, and setting up Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms ahead of opening day
  • Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and launch checklists, refining them with each campus deployment and automating recurring tasks using AI tools

What you will NOT be doing

  • Functioning as a queue-driven helpdesk technician whose performance is evaluated by ticket count
  • Developing high-level IT architecture or engaging in strategic discussions while launch schedules fall behind
  • Managing unstructured purchasing without inventory tracking, vendor management, or standardized specifications
  • Relying on others to create process documentation (you will make launches repeatable, not reliant on institutional memory)

Key responsibilities

This role ensures that every campus launches and operates on time because devices, SaaS platforms, and launch technology systems are completely provisioned and functional before opening day.

Candidate requirements

  • Currently located in the United States and authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Willing and able to travel periodically to US campuses
  • Experience administering an MDM (mobile device management) platform such as ManageEngine, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting end-user devices (laptops or tablets), including provisioning/imaging and troubleshooting
  • Experience administering SaaS platforms, including account provisioning, permissions management, and license management
  • Experience coordinating hardware procurement and delivery logistics and/or running asset tracking workflows
  • Evidence of creating or maintaining operational documentation such as SOPs, runbooks, or playbooks
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to troubleshoot technical problems or automate repetitive operational workflows

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting a distributed, multi-site environment where inventory, spares, and repairs must be managed across locations
  • Strong track record of building simple automations that reduce manual provisioning and reporting work
  • Experience configuring or administering communication tools such as Google Voice, Zoom Phone, or Zoom Rooms
