Description

Slow release cycles and error-prone software continue to plague the industry, driven primarily by outdated testing approaches. Even when automation is employed, conventional QA methodologies often fail to identify critical defects early in the development cycle, resulting in expensive delays and dissatisfied end users. Industry data indicates that more than 60% of software defects surface after release, with quality issues costing the global software sector in excess of $2 trillion annually. The need for faster, more dependable software requires a fundamental shift in quality assurance strategy.

IgniteTech is pioneering this transformation by embedding GenAI capabilities throughout the QA lifecycle. Leveraging artificial intelligence to replicate user interactions, produce sophisticated test scenarios, and interpret defect patterns, we achieve accelerated releases with reduced bug counts. Becoming part of our team positions you at the cutting edge of this movement, using AI to remove bottlenecks and anticipate issues before they materialize.

This position goes beyond conventional QA work. If you expect a standard setting focused on manual test runs or routine automation scripting, you should look elsewhere. In this role, you will take ownership of designing and advancing AI-powered test automation architectures, apply predictive analytics to surface latent risks, and contribute to redefining software quality standards. You will serve as the engineer behind scalable systems that respond to the demands of contemporary development, rather than operating within an inflexible, legacy framework. If this aligns with the challenge you have been seeking, submit your application to influence the next era of software engineering.

What you will be doing

  • Build and sustain AI-driven test automation frameworks that generate test cases, scripts, and datasets for thorough validation
  • Apply GenAI tools to evaluate testing results, detect defect patterns, and deliver actionable insights that drive continuous improvement
  • Model user scenarios, stress conditions, and edge cases to detect potential failures before they reach end users

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage AI and automation technologies to accelerate product releases and reduce defect rates

Candidate requirements

  • AI-First Mindset (if your default approach is to write code first and subsequently use AI tools to check or improve your work, rather than starting with AI, then this role is not suitable for you)
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a QA automation capacity, with demonstrable experience testing AI-based products
  • Proficiency in Selenium and at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
  • Professional experience applying AI tools to automate quality assurance workflows
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
  • Proven experience leading QA testing teams
