Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Outdated testing practices continue to hamper the software industry, resulting in prolonged release timelines and defect-laden products. Even organizations employing rudimentary automation struggle to identify critical defects early in the development cycle, which drives up costs and diminishes user satisfaction. Industry data reveals that more than 60% of software defects surface after release, with quality-related issues generating over $2 trillion in annual losses across the software sector. Delivering faster, more dependable software requires a fundamental transformation in quality assurance methodology.

IgniteTech is pioneering this transformation by embedding GenAI capabilities throughout the entire QA lifecycle. We leverage artificial intelligence to replicate user interactions, construct sophisticated test scenarios, and interpret defect patterns, enabling accelerated releases with reduced bug counts. Becoming part of our team positions you at the cutting edge of this evolution, where AI eliminates waste and enables proactive issue detection.

This position differs fundamentally from conventional QA roles. If you seek an environment centered on manual test execution or static automation scripting, you will not find it here. In this role, you will architect and advance AI-enhanced test automation frameworks, apply predictive analytics to surface latent risks, and influence the trajectory of software quality assurance. You will design scalable systems capable of handling the demands of contemporary development practices, rather than operating within inflexible, legacy workflows. If this aligns with the challenge you have been seeking, submit your application and contribute to reshaping software development.

What you will be doing

  • Design, implement, and sustain AI-powered test automation frameworks that produce test cases, scripts, and datasets for thorough validation
  • Leverage GenAI technologies to evaluate testing results, detect defect patterns, and deliver practical recommendations for ongoing enhancement
  • Replicate user workflows, stress environments, and boundary conditions to detect potential failures before they reach end users

Key responsibilities

  • Apply AI and automation technologies to accelerate product delivery and minimize defect occurrence

Candidate requirements

  • AI-First Mindset (if your default approach is to write code initially and subsequently employ AI tools for verification or refinement, rather than leading with AI, this role is not suitable for you)
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in QA automation
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Selenium and at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
  • Hands-on professional experience utilizing AI tools to automate quality assurance processes
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
