Description

Slow release cycles and bug-riddled products continue to plague the software industry, driven primarily by outdated testing approaches. Conventional QA methodologies, even when supplemented with rudimentary automation, consistently miss critical defects until it's too late, resulting in expensive setbacks and dissatisfied end users. Industry data reveals that more than 60% of software defects are identified after release, with quality issues costing the software sector in excess of $2 trillion annually. The push toward faster, more dependable software requires a fundamental reimagining of quality assurance strategy.

IgniteTech is spearheading this transformation by embedding GenAI capabilities throughout the QA lifecycle. We leverage artificial intelligence to replicate user interactions, create sophisticated test scenarios, and interpret defect patterns, enabling accelerated releases with reduced bug counts. When you join our team, you position yourself at the cutting edge of innovation, applying AI to remove bottlenecks and anticipate issues before they materialize.

This is not a conventional QA role. If your expectation is a traditional setting focused on manual test runs or monotonous automation scripting, you will not find it here. In this position, you will take ownership of designing and advancing AI-powered test automation architectures, implement predictive analytics to surface latent vulnerabilities, and contribute directly to defining the next generation of software quality. You will engineer scalable systems that respond to the demands of contemporary development, rather than operating within a static, legacy framework. If this aligns with the challenge you seek, submit your application today and influence the trajectory of software development.

What you will be doing

  • Build and sustain AI-powered test automation frameworks that generate test cases, scripts, and datasets for thorough validation coverage
  • Apply GenAI technologies to evaluate testing results, detect defect patterns, and deliver actionable recommendations for ongoing enhancement
  • Model user interactions, load conditions, and boundary scenarios to expose potential defects prior to user exposure

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage AI and automation technologies to accelerate product delivery and reduce defect rates

Candidate requirements

  • AI-First Mindset (if you naturally write code before leveraging AI tools to validate or refine it, rather than starting with AI, this role is not suitable for you)
  • A minimum of 2 years working in a QA automation capacity, with hands-on experience testing AI-based products
  • Expertise in Selenium and proficiency in at least one of these languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
  • Demonstrated professional experience applying AI tools to automate quality assurance processes
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
  • Prior experience managing and leading QA testing teams
