Description

The software sector struggles with prolonged release timelines and defect-laden products, primarily because testing methodologies have not kept pace with modern demands. Conventional QA approaches, including rudimentary automation, often miss critical defects until it is too late, resulting in expensive setbacks and dissatisfied end users. Industry data shows that more than 60% of software defects surface after release, and quality-related issues impose costs exceeding $2 trillion annually on the software industry worldwide. Achieving faster and more dependable software delivery requires a fundamental transformation in quality assurance strategy.

IgniteTech is pioneering this transformation by embedding GenAI capabilities throughout the entire QA lifecycle. We leverage artificial intelligence to replicate user interactions, produce intricate test scenarios, and evaluate defect patterns, enabling accelerated releases with reduced bug counts. By joining our team, you will work at the cutting edge of this innovation, applying AI to remove bottlenecks and anticipate issues before they manifest.

This position differs from conventional QA roles. If you seek an environment centered on manual test case execution or repetitive scripting tasks, this opportunity is not suited to you. In this role, you will take ownership of designing and refining AI-powered test automation architectures, apply predictive analytics to uncover latent risks, and contribute to defining the next generation of software quality standards. You will function as the designer of adaptable, scalable solutions aligned with the demands of contemporary development practices, not as a participant in a static, conventional workflow. If this aligns with the challenge you have been seeking, submit your application now to influence the trajectory of software development.

What you will be doing

  • Design, implement, and maintain AI-powered test automation frameworks that generate test cases, automation scripts, and test data for thorough validation across products
  • Leverage GenAI tools to evaluate test results, detect defect patterns, and deliver actionable recommendations for ongoing quality enhancement
  • Model user interactions, stress scenarios, and boundary conditions to identify potential defects before they reach end users

Key responsibilities

  • Apply AI and automation technologies to accelerate product release cycles and minimize product defects

Candidate requirements

  • AI-First Mindset (if your default approach is to write code manually first and then apply AI tools for verification or refinement, rather than leading with AI, please do not apply)
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a QA automation capacity, with demonstrated experience testing AI-based products
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium and at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
  • Proven professional experience utilizing AI tools to automate quality assurance processes
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
  • Experience in leading or managing teams of QA testers
