As part of our specialized M&A group, we don't just maintain software—we reimagine it. We're seeking a visionary Software Architect who can take complete ownership of acquired products, serving as their technical north star through transformation.

This isn't about managing feature backlogs or leading engineering teams. It's about being the technical guardian of entire products—monitoring vital health metrics, resolving critical issues, and orchestrating both immediate stability and strategic evolution. You'll be the driving force embedding AI automation throughout every layer, replacing manual effort with intelligent systems while making pivotal architectural decisions that reshape product foundations.

In our fast-paced, fully remote environment, you'll collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into concrete technical outcomes that directly impact profitability. We measure success through results, not activities. This role demands technical leaders who thrive on complex challenges and end-to-end ownership—architects who are energized by the prospect of modernizing intricate systems and pioneering AI-driven software evolution at scale.

What you will be doing

  • Cultivate and leverage comprehensive product knowledge to guide high-impact technical decisions
  • Craft elegant technical specifications that prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and sustainable architecture
  • Pioneer the integration of generative AI technologies to revolutionize engineering workflows and eliminate manual processes

What you will NOT be doing

  • Traditional people management—your value comes from technical brilliance and business acumen
  • Navigating bureaucratic overhead—we've automated administrative burdens so you can focus on creating tangible value
  • Developing abstract strategies—your recommendations must be grounded in deep product understanding and practical implementation

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the product's technical visionary, taking full ownership of modernization efforts, cost optimization initiatives, AI automation integration, and strategic execution to maximize business value

Candidate requirements

  • Proven track record of making consequential architectural decisions with far-reaching implications—such as implementing foundational design patterns or selecting critical open source technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically simplify product scope to enhance efficiency and focus
  • Comprehensive mastery of the AWS ecosystem and cloud-native architecture principles
  • Hands-on experience leveraging Generative AI to enhance product capabilities and streamline operational processes
