Software Architect   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Are you a Full-Stack Engineer drawn to complex problem-solving and the delivery of high-impact features? Become part of a team building innovative, AI-driven products that redefine how individuals learn and develop. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional quality, with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and measurable impact.

You will contribute to products reshaping the learning landscape:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-inspired learning format.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, enchanting storytelling designed to improve comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning copilot integrated with current applications, offering proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: Deploys AI-generated video content and assessments to produce tangible academic results.

This position is designed to create real-world impact through functional software. You will leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems addressing meaningful challenges—not simply completing task lists. The expectation is rapid delivery without compromising quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that harmonizes immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

If you are prepared to tackle intricate technical problems and ship features that matter, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Drive user stories from conception through to production impact; refine requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct rigorous testing, and release to live environments
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Perform root cause analysis on issues, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent future regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Standards: Conduct thorough reviews of technical plans and pull requests to enforce clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems purely for technical novelty
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying challenge
  • Spending time in protracted planning meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating dependencies across teams
  • Simply delivering features; your accountability extends to solving genuine user problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, ships rapidly, and remains maintainable over the long term

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production-level code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Proven track record of owning entire modules, product features, or teams—not merely contributing isolated tasks
  • Independent execution: Capability to unblock yourself, manage your own workflow, and navigate ambiguous situations effectively
  • Experience incorporating generative A.I. into daily development workflows
