Full Stack Engineer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll tackle complex technical problems and ship high-impact features. Our team builds AI-powered educational products that reshape how individuals learn and develop. Your focus will be on delivering quality execution while maintaining scalability, maintainability, and meaningful impact.

Our product portfolio is redefining education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures in an engaging, TikTok-style learning format.
  • TeachTales: Delivers personalized, immersive storytelling experiences that enhance student comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Serves as an intelligent learning assistant that connects with existing applications to provide proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: Deploys AI-generated video content and assessments to produce quantifiable academic results.

This position centers on creating tangible impact through production-ready software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack solutions addressing substantial challenges, not merely completing task lists. The expectation is rapid delivery without compromising quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that reconciles immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

If you're prepared to address demanding technical problems and ship meaningful features, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Transform user stories from concept to production; clarify specifications, architect scalable implementations, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to live environments
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Diagnose issues using root cause methodologies, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through strategic testing
  • Elevate Code Standards: Examine technical plans and code reviews to verify clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems purely for complexity's sake
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending excessive time in meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with multiple stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; your responsibility extends to resolving genuine user problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, delivers rapidly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Proven ownership: Documented experience managing complete modules, product features, or teams, beyond isolated task contributions
  • Self-directed execution: Capability to remove blockers independently, establish your own momentum, and navigate ambiguous circumstances
  • Practical experience incorporating generative A.I. into daily development workflows
