Full Stack Engineer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer who excels at tackling complex problems and shipping high-impact features. In this role, you will develop innovative AI-powered products designed to revolutionize learning and personal development. Your work will emphasize high-quality execution, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable, and impactful solutions.

Our product portfolio is reshaping education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style learning interface.
  • TeachTales: Delivers personalized, immersive storytelling experiences that enhance student comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning copilot, integrating seamlessly with existing applications to provide proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: Employs AI-generated videos and assessments to produce quantifiable academic improvements.

This position is centered on creating real-world impact through functional, production-ready software. You will leverage AI tools and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems addressing genuine challenges—not merely completing tasks. The expectation is rapid delivery without sacrificing quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that reconciles immediate velocity with future maintainability.

If you are prepared to address sophisticated technical problems and deliver features that matter, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver Complete Full-Stack Features: Transform user stories into tangible impact by clarifying requirements, architecting scalable solutions, implementing backend and frontend logic, conducting comprehensive testing, and deploying to production
  • Identify and Resolve Bugs: Conduct root cause analysis to investigate issues, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Quality Standards: Assess plans and pull requests to verify clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt from entering the codebase

What you will NOT be doing

  • Crafting pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems without clear purpose
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending excessive time in meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with multiple stakeholders
  • Merely delivering features; your responsibility extends to solving genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Leveraging AI to create software that addresses authentic user needs, ships rapidly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Proven ownership: Track record of owning entire modules, product features, or teams—not just isolated contributions
  • Self-directed execution: Capability to remove blockers independently, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward through ambiguous circumstances
  • Practical experience incorporating generative A.I. into daily development workflows
